Hi, Thanks a lot for the hint using the right click to intstall and to open the program file for update! With simple click I spent hours suffering unable to connect the flash to the program! Also thanks for the other hint, not to use the godox program but the flashpint one! with these tricks I was able to update the godox v2.1 firmware within a minute! Thanks again!!!!

Great video muchísimas gracias! Do you think I'd have to update the firmware when paired with a Canon R5?

I just wish Godox would supply also Mac firmware installers for all devices.

I enjoy your videos and I'm learning about flash. I also have the Godox tt685o. The tutorial got me going after seeing it my shelf for 3 months. I'm excited to start using it. Am right now at home I am. Its so cool amazing. I have a few questions and I'll put the most important one first in case I only get 1 LOL.. I'm shooting my first event on Saturday and I'm very much wanting and needing to use my flash. But it will be a lot of pressure to use something so new while trying to do the job. I'm a video man but now doing photos for the job. I have it in Automatic Zoon and I have on TTL.. Will that be ok to get me though the night. I'm using it now at home and it really is something. Man the power of having flash is mind blowing. So question 1 is.. For this situation and me not being experienced with flash.. Will TTL auto zoom be ok. I ordered the Godox diffuser which will be here tomorrow. SO I guess the idea is I can use the power up or down depending on how strong the light is. Also It's hard to set the exposure. It seems when the light is on my Panasonic GH5 the screen is very bright and looks good even when the room is dim. If I turn the Godox off everything goes dark. I can't figure out why that is. I'm mean the Godox is not making any light unless I snap the pic. Please let me know. Thank You. Tom

Alex, I have the TT 685. The version I’m running is 1.2 After taking an hour searching the Internet, watching your video, going to Godox website going to the ADORAMA website ….I cannot find out what the latest firmware version is today in 2023. I think I have the latest but I want to be sure ….why would somebody go through all this trouble when they may already have the latest update. I do not know why these companies will torture their customers so much. please help and advise

I think the latest version is 3.3? Same "no joy" outcome as most folks. Even tried the Adorama Flashpoint route by Mr. Silva...does not work for me...
