The Incredible Hulk was such a great series and when CBS changed Presidents, he thought the series cost too much. That was a mistake. The show still had another couple of years left in it. You can see one of the continuity errors from the show in this scene. At 4:54, the Hulk throws the bathroom sink through the door before breaking down the door and wall around it. At 5:08, you see the panther cowering in the corner of the bathroom but the sink is obviously still intact. It was a nice touch that even the deadly panther was afraid of the Hulk's power.

Good point. Not sure why it was never done. I suppose as Hulk was back then, it wasn't nearly as immensely popular as today's superhero movies, so the writers maybe just never saw a need to introduce other superheroes into a show. Back then, itt was also much harder to bring superheroes to life. The visual effects technology was primitive. Now CGI can do a fantastic job of it.
