Nice stretch on the truck you should put a cross member in between where the two frames meet. It will make it a more solid job. Look forward to seeing the whole project 👍🏽

Nice work and never mind the keyboard cowboys- when I researched frame cuts and stretches I realized real quick that everyone has an opinion about them, they’re all different and yet they’re all right and everyone else is wrong. Just keep on gettin it done, brother

Many many years ago when i drove cab overs the short wheelbase and tight turn radius was the upside of these rigs. Im curious, why do people want to stretch them out?

You made it way to long. It need some length but not that much. 210 maybe 225 inch wheelbase would been more than enough, .especially with it only being a 86 inch cab.

I honestly don't see why anyone would stretch a cabover except for the fact that they think it looks 'cool'. That's about the only thing I can think of. The places I go, these stretched trucks would never make the turns or get around.

Here in New Zealand you would never be aloud that modification on the Road, would be considered a death trap.
Any structural modification has to be signed off by a Certified Transport Engineer & be constructed by Certified Welder .
A chassis join should be angle cut both ends & fish plated with an inner rail.Good luck with your design.
