How do we know what is fake and what is not
@@reapergaming4990 it’s mainly about the product and how it looks. I’d recommend actually looking up an article about fake cards. I’m pretty certain these would pop up there. If you should feel suspicious about any Pokemon products you want to buy then it’s very likely it’s a fake product. Always look at something that talks about fake cards before going out to buy Pokemon cards.

I remember watching your videos years ago when I was in elementary,I’m a senior now and got back into collecting,I’m happy to see that this Channel stayed around for the boom of Pokémon cards,so many people now don’t even have any sort of love for Pokémon and only claim to like them because of the monetary value connected to it just like any other niche that resell culture has dug their nails into, good to see your still doing well

Yeah I actually bought a ton of fake cards whilst I was in Tenerife. I was there for my summer holiday. We went to this shop by our hotel and I saw a green tin. I was actually pretty new to the TCG at the time so I can’t really be blamed. I was oblivious to fake cards. But since I figured it out few years later I am no longer gonna buy any cards abroad unless I know it’s 100% authentic.
I love it when you open these fake cards, they’re just too funny. I would love a pack of the Pokémon Go cards. They are fantastically hilarious and I love those shiny markings on them!

I've had people try to trick me into trading their fake cards for my real ones. They didn't even know they were fake. I had to point out the differences between the fake and real to convince them they were fake. I didn't even know the fake cards were sold back then, I just thought that they made them themselves. I just had to look at the cards and feel the texture and immediately could tell.
Aame like I traded a friend my real full art glaceon Ex for his fake full art Gumshoos Gx in 4th grade.

Its not only in Austrlia that you can find fake cards in. In my country before 5 years we had like the same fake cards. I remember buying 2 packs and the cards in pack 1 WHERE THE SAME AS PACK 2. Also some of the cards where smaller than the others and some of them where cut. Thank god they stoped selling them here.

My Wife just purchased a few of the tins for me and my sons in Athens Greece. Told her to return them before she and my Daughter come back to the states.
I also used to find these in Lebanon. I went there for just one visit to see stuff there, and I spent about 100 dollars worth of fake cards. I was young and my parents couldn't say no

Hey what happens if a Chinese or Japanese card doesn’t have the black thing in it but when i shine a light on it it says real? I didnt buy it online. (Dont have Instagram) its a tag team and idk if its real. It has the crisp text, no black line in the middle of the back and front, when i shine a light it barley goes through, (means its real) has a normal back even though its a Japanese or Chinese card. Real or fake?
Most likely is a Japanese card. And idk about the real/fake part, because every country makes their cards with different materials.

I picked some up at the flee market and me and my sister had a laugh because all of the fake Pokémon cards had an extra 0 so it would be like 1000 hp but we did get some real ones it didn’t bother me too much because it made a good memory for me
