- Today we see what FAKE Pokemon Cards are being sold in 2022! This was a massive issue I saw in 2021 with Fake EX and RARE Pokemon Cards being sold all over the world and in 2022 it still seems like it's an issue. So I wetn out shopping fro some FAKE Pokemon Cards!

I help run my local card club and it breaks my heart when the kids come up to me so excited to show me the amazing high value card they've traded their cards for and I have to tell them it's fake

@@thenerdytiger9306 on Saturdays, I go to my local card game store where me and other people play Pokémon. I battled this one kid who literally used fake cards in his deck, and just last time I went there, a kid tried to trade me a fake card
These never fail to make me laugh, just wish that there were more stupid errors like the wrong pokemon names and stuff 😂

My fake Pokémon card story is that I used to buy them off eBay and they were fake, but I didn’t know. Since my brother is older than me he realized that they were fake and didn’t tell me. One day I pulled my very first hit GX card ever and he said do you want to trade you GX for two of my rainbow rares? I thought hard and decided to accept. Little did I know the two rainbow rare were fake and I still have them haunting me now. The good part to this story is that my brother is no longer into Pokémon cards, so he gave his collection to me. Beware of fake cards everyone, they really aren’t good. Ando always knows if the cards are fake and is such an amazing person for doing these kind of videos. Listen to him!!! Loved the video Ando!
Personally, I'd rather see more of these. Some companies that you have exposed for being fake have gotten me laughing so hard. I'd like to see some of the "best" fakes and the "worst" fakes

I see this happening in lots of malls. I went to a shop in a mall and the packaging on the cards was considerably shorter than usual. I pulled a chansey V tho

Im in India right now, and at a store I saw the silliest fake Pokemon cards. They had fake XY Evolutions packs on sale, and it was so obvious that they were fake because the pack covers were TERRIBLE. Most of you have probably seen the Raichu pack art, the fake pack arts were mostly just raichus in different colors. One was even a blue and purple one. It was so funny looking.

The worst thing is it will be the people who can't really afford the real cards who buy the cheaper option. I'm from the UK and think if you reported this to trading standards they would probably looking into it and close it down..

There was a general store downtown where i live that used to sell fake booster packs.
I went back recently and ALL of the fake products are nowhere to be found, i complained after i bought a fake Shining Fates pack and got refunded.
I then told people at the GameStop i work at that the store in question sold fake booster packs and someone must have went to that store and complained and i'm glad that by word to mouth, that general store stopped selling the fake booster packs
Maybe they weren't aware before then

Thanks so much Ando! I live in Australia too and these fake Pokémon card shops are insane! Sadly my younger self fell for these deceiving tricks because I was quite low on cash. Don’t stress anymore, my collection has grown into an official card selection and I get so many better cards! Thanks for the video and your other ones, they helped me watch out and stop buying them!

Back when I was a kid I had some fake Pokémon cards. My favorite fake card was a Tyranitar that had 680HP but with basic attacks. I also had some fake Pokémon ex cards as well. My aunt and uncle bought them for me at the local flea market.

We got these fake evolutions packs in Ottawa Canada too. I found them in some random dollar stores. I called them out on it and they stop selling them for a bit
Somehow fake pokemon cards got me into collecting but I caught on soon after. I do credit them by burning them in a garbage bin:)
Actually I kinda like the Pokémon homemade set other than being cut is that just me i think it would be new and well unique very unique and if it were actually made from Pokémon
I received fake Pokémon cards from my brother as a birthday gift. I gave the packaging a quick glance and already knew it was fake 😂 It was hard to act happy with it, but I did 😅

I've never bought fake pokemon cards, but I recall when I was young, pre check things on the internet days I got a reverse holo Dark Raichu, and a lot of my friends told me it was fake because Dark Raichu wasn't a real card that was made lol.
A reverse holo dark raichu does exist. its a legendary collection from 2002.
There also is a holo dark raichu. It can be first edition or from the unlimited reprint.

Nice video Ando! A trick you can do to determine if a card is real without ripping it in half is by looking at the side of the card, there should be a black line in the middle.

You should do a store vs. store video. You can compare Pokémon pulls from each store. For example, you can buy target pokemon and gamestop Pokemon then compare them. Poke rev did this but I really want to see your version of it.

They have fake Pokémon at gas stations and they are horrendous.
