I loathe the fake Pokémon card makers so much. My parents thought it would be fun to get me like five packs of Pokémon cards, and it turns out they were all fake. It was so hard to tell them that they were fake.
I've never opened or bought fake cards, but when I was a kid I thought the Topps cards were fake pokemon cards.
Most of the pulls were Lost Origin and he was opening Silver Tempest 😂
It's such a shame that parents or grandparents who wouldnt know better, might part with significant sums to buy these as a gift not realising they are fake.

This is why I only ever buy from my very limited pool of trusted stores and if I ever buy singles from like eBay and stuff I make sure the seller has a very high rating. Thank you, Ando for exposing these stores.
Ando, i have a funny story, so about 4 years ago i collected fake pokemon cards and thought they were real. I remember flexing my fake card saying that they are worth £100. Now i collect the real ones because of somebody pointing it out to me at my pokemon tcg club.
Those pulls were off the charts. Still can't believe there are still people out there selling fake cards. I love how you expose them though. Keep up the good work!
It is nice that you go show off the fakes, since I do think it does help people to keep an eye out for them, plus I do know of a store near me that had fake Pokémon cards at one point, as I am just wondering if they still do, but it was nice seeing you open the real packs as you did get some great pulls.

glad you put these fake shops on blast for people to know and be aware if they're buying real or fake packs. i know when i was younger my parents didnt know anything about pokemon and neither did i so when i would find pokemon cards at some antique store or collectible stores i ended up getting fake cards here and there and missed out on what i couldve had in terms of older cards from sets like black and white, xy, sun and moon,
I'm glad you said it, for us who are used to TCG, it's obvious, but I meet way too many kids and parents whom bought fakes thinking it was the real stuff! Videos like this are good since they reach the young ones especially! 👍🏻

Great video for new collectors everywhere. These sellers of fake cards do my head in, as kids and parents in a lot of cases are totally unaware that they are fake. But I also would love to open some Violet and Scarlett boosters❤
I brought the gold cards for my daughter just for the artwork so that she could see what fake cards were like as we always buy real packs. This really opened her eyes to what people will do so we have the fakes in alternate folder where we also keep any fakes we get in if we accidentally get any in trades!!! 😢
It’s crazy to see how far fakes have come. I think that it’s even crazier to think that shops are selling fake cards, whether they know it or not.

Same thing is happening in Kansas, USA. We've got a mall shop that sells this same stuff, mostly to kids who run to the game shop across the way and try to sell/trade them. Frustrating.
I’m actually from Kansas and I didn’t know about this also if I can ask what town exactly? I live in a town called independence but travel a lot to the more big cities here along with Oklahoma to buy things and have never seen a fake Pokémon mall shop ?

there are Pokemon shops near me, and I bought a bunch of fake cards without realizing it and now thanks to you I won't make the same mistake twice.

I'm all for people making fake Pokemon cards for themselves, but once you attempt to trick others into thinking the cards are real in order to make a profit, then that's where I draw the line. Thank you so much for exposing these fake card sellers. Hopefully more people catch on and are able to not fall for these types of scams

This reminds me of the time back when I was younger and thinking why the Pokemon cards I bought were so cheap and weird-looking... and as I got older finally realised those were fake, wasn't the nicest experience LOL so thank for exposing them!

Years ago, I once found a garbage bag of cards someone tossed on the side of the road - half the cards were fake, half were real, it was wild going though.them all. The sheer variation in the card back brightness/quality/saturation was insane.

I have opened boster boxes and i can clarify.
In all booster boxes (fake) that i opened. Everyone had a good card. example is for a fake unbroken bonds box nearly all cards were tag teams.
I bought a pack of fake Pokémon cards, and then the morpeko vmax said it evolved from a Lapras v 😂

i saw someone selling the single gold charizards for $25 a pop and some mom that didnt know anything about pokemon was about to buy her son a few of them. i informed her they were fake. who knows if she bought them after but im glad i did my part.
