Those are all great points about blisters. Never looked at it that way. I like that you are looking at it from a realistic perspective as well. Other channels don't really do that.
Good points for advantages. I would say one of the disadvantage however is generally you need to wait until the set is in high demand for anyone to be willing to buy 3 pack blisters. People tend to rather spend a premium on booster boxes, etbs and lastly maybe a rarer box before they want a blister. When the packs are valued high however they become good, so in my opinion they are a longer hold.
I Collect 3 pack blisters too, downside is the packs can shift out of place. Most times the can be shaken back into place without much trouble. Also the top cardboard tends to curl overtime too
If you buying to sell it, just don't open it. Hide it away if you have to. When I buy cards for opening, it comes from my personal enjoyment funds. When I buy to keep and sell some day, it comes from my investment funds. If you find that difficult, try determining how much you are setting aside for Investing each month (I started with 100$ CAD). And just know that if you ever have the thought of opening it, just know that you will be actively losing out on not only profit, but the investment money that you put into it.

My main reason for going with blisters and sleeved packs is that it’s so much easier on your wallet than locking in at the price of a booster box. Sometimes you can only afford a few blisters a week and you’re investing over time.

I think the biggest issue with blisters and single packs is as they become more valuable, and ct scans on Pokémon cards become cheaper. You risk people losing faith in those products. A booster box would be a lot harder to scan if packs aren’t lined up and would need a bigger machine. Even better would be a booster box case. I think scanning packs is scummy and defeats the purpose. But there’s a possibility this really affects the valuable sealed market.
I have found resealed boosters at Target, but it was easy to tell they were resealled. First, the plastic was not flush against the cards where it was sealed. Second, Target wasn't selling any of those blisters in-store, only online. I grabbed them excitedly, but something kept telling me something was wrong, so I looked closer and checked online. I am happy I trusted my gut.

I think that there was a time to buy the booster boxes but for fusion strike at the time we're in (so far since release) you're better off to go for a cheaper product like a 3 pack blister if you're looking for sealed future value. But like any pokemon investment, the tough part is to walk past it all the time and not open stuff😅
Yes , totally agree with you it seems that is good advice for the community. The only thing I would ad about the three pack blisters you always seem to get one hitter pack and two non hitter packs. I would recommend the singles the luck has always been a bit better for me.
Personally, I love 3 pack blisters. I have a nice collection of about 20-25 of them and I truly think these will be much more scarce in the future. People love to rip them and no one holds them because they really focus on holding booster boxes and ETB's. I agree on your points of the benefits too. Back in 2020 I purchased a case of 144 sleeved boosters of Guardians Rising for MSRP. It's the equivalent of 4 booster boxes. The end result was 46 hits including 7 secret rares. 4 booster boxes would have not yielded those results (especially in the sun & moon era where 8 hits was considered a successful booster box). I don't buy booster boxes anymore. I stick with 3 pack blisters and sleeved boosters and might grab a few checklanes if I like the promo. The randomness of the variety almost always ends up with better results.

While i agree with the benefits of the 3 pack blisters and collect them myself, they don’t sell nearly as frequent or as easy a booster box. Fusion as an example sells a couple boxes a day on TCG vs 1 a month of the 3 Planck blister. Hopefully this Is due to Pokemon center still having them in stock. I like Squirtle.
In Europe we've got half booster boxes, quite interesting as well ;) some of them are heavily undervalued as well. Can still get Fusion Strike 18 pack booster boxes for about 75$ - which is ridiculous.
Dude never thought about it that way! I just always want to get as many packs as possible lol. I think it’s good to buy the boosters for the first start of the set collection to get most of the commons, but then it makes total sense to go for the blisters. Excited to see more videos!

Florida man gots suma Dat good points for consumers 🤔 wholesale wise it’s cheaper when you buy an entire box of boosters. They’re also MUCH easier to store vs blisters. When you have a warehouse full of products that’s a huge plus.

BB will always be king if you want to make the most money out of your purchases, team up single pack =50 , bb = 2500 thats around 700 extra dollars per bbs. The 3 packs and single sleeved packs is still good tho im not saying dont buy but for long term investors stick to bbs.

While I dont see blisters being the solution in the very long term as interest will only be from the deep pocket collectors who can afford whole booster boxes I do feel for a 2-4 yr hold their a brilliant 'hold' / makes it affordable to buyers etc.

What’s your experience with selling these 3 pack blisters, I heard you say It’s easy to buy, it’s easy to sell. The liquidity on sealed 3 pack blisters for me is absolutely horrendous. They sell, but if part of you’re reasoning is being able to sell a portion, it’s seems noteworthy to point out how poorly they sell compared to the liquidity of a booster box. Yes good point by comparison. They only become hot after the set is no longer available. Until then people ignore them. But I do very well, easy double my investment. Everytime. I just live the cheaper price points

bro... NONE of these modern cards are worth the cardboard they are printed on the print run is in the millions, psa 10 in the 20k+ range for the "chase cards" worthless
the bubble reminds me of the bulk wax baseball era all junk - no one will want these once the market retraces/dives & no one will have any emotional attachment for atleast 20-30 years if ever (i would bet NEVER) every modern set since ereader has been hideous too
the "investors" will move on or be stuck holding the bag, the idea that any modern card will ever hit shadowless prices is laughable supply/demand & a verifiable population report = common sense
my professional advice is to scoop psa 10s of cards you like, not just whatever is hype or whatever if it tanks atleast its a monster/set you care about owning

Agreed, sometimes the barrier of entry may be too high when the prices go up for the products. Blisters are also smaller and easier to ship.

What’s your experience with selling these 3 pack blisters, I heard you say It’s easy to buy, it’s easy to sell. The liquidity on sealed 3 pack blisters for me is absolutely horrendous. They sell, but if part of you’re reasoning is being able to sell a portion, it’s seems noteworthy to point out how poorly they sell compared to the liquidity of a booster box. Great video though, appreciate the content.
Yes good point by comparison. They only become hot after the set is no longer available. Until then people ignore them. But I do very well, easy double my investment. Everytime. I just live the cheaper price points

the print run is in the millions, psa 10 in the 20k+ range for the "chase cards"

the bubble reminds me of the bulk wax baseball era
all junk - no one will want these once the market retraces/dives & no one will have any emotional attachment for atleast 20-30 years if ever (i would bet NEVER)
every modern set since ereader has been hideous too
the "investors" will move on or be stuck holding the bag, the idea that any modern card will ever hit shadowless prices is laughable
supply/demand & a verifiable population report = common sense
i sold all my newer master sets during the covid boom and never looked back
now is the PERFECT time to buy
flooded market and rockbottom prices
my professional advice is to scoop psa 10s of cards you like, not just whatever is hype or whatever
if it tanks atleast its a monster/set you care about owning
