I just wanted to say how much I appreciate your gift of voice and your kindness. I first started listening to you sing almost 10 years ago now. A little while back one of your songs helped me come to terms with a late term miscarriage and I didn't know if I could come back from the heartbreak.
But now almost 2 years later, I'm sitting here with my 5 week old son in my arms listening to your music as it helps put him to sleep. Truly amazing to come full circle and now share your soothing voice with my son. All blessings for your future Kina ❤🙏🌻

Re: your message at the end trying to describe Kishi Bashi's magic... the kind of music that's happy but also tugs at your heartstrings. Reminds me of Studio Ghibli/Miyazaki's animated films. They're like fairy tales, fantasy stories with (usually) happy endings, but they're the ones that are also profound and move something inside you deeply. Beautiful cover! Loved it! I also share your sentiments about his work and it being the "right kind of happy for me". There's this ethereal quality to his music with a tug-at-the-heart touch that makes it sound like the soundtrack to some mythical story.
