Hamilton’s Khaki Field Collection features a range of classic army-style watches. Military watches are designed to be rugged, resilient and robust. Built for those who brave the outdoors and seek adventure. Hamilton’s Khaki Field watches can compete with some of the best sports watches out there and are destined to suit your needs in the field as well as everyday life.
Core Features of the Khaki Field Automatic Collection:
The Khaki Field Automatic collection is powered by automatic Swiss movement.
Calibre - Hamilton’s three-hand movement, H-10.
This model comes with an 80-hour power reserve.
The dial is protected by scratch-resistant sapphire crystal.
Model Specifications H70405130:
This model exhibits a deep black dial.
The dial features Arabic numerals and cathedral-shaped hands.
A high-quality stainless steel case frames the dial. The case measures 38mm in diameter.
The exhibition case back allows the wearer to observe the movement that powers the watch.
The watch is finished with a brushed, three-row stainless steel bracelet. The bracelet fastens with a folding clasp.
The watch is water-resistant up to 100 metres (10 bar).
Black dial with the bracelet looks really good, bet it will bring in a lot of customers who weren't into the leather strap. The white dial feels like the is something missing though, some final touch.
I do like the white model but just wish it had black framed hands
Black dialer looks the better of the two but I'm not a big faux patina fan 😎👍
I don't mind it myself Duncan does look good but still couldn't see myself buying one
I’ve been waiting for you to review these. I got rid of my 38 murph a while back and might be looking to get one again. Tempted by both. Excellent review as always
Thank you Mr Bourne :) if the white dial came with black hands that would be my choice
@@ClickSpringReview as soon as you said it I couldn’t un see it. If it came on the bracelet it would be on its way to me by tomorrow. I might get the black though. I regretted selling it and on the bracelet it is such a good everyday watch. Just picked up a JLC MUT 38mm so need a do it all as my daily wearer.
Nice you can never have to many watches
can you get one of the new accutron astronaut gmts to review? they look really cool but nobody is talking abt them. great review btw
unfortunately first class watches doesn't have one but is the Bulova Oceanographer Automatic Devil Diver GMT (41mm) Black Dial / Rose-Gold PVD Stainless Steel close :)
If the white dial was flat instead of crisp, I would pulled the trigger on the white dial rather than the black one. For now the black dial with bracelet will be my next purchase
The white dial came so close to being the better of the two but it just missed the mark
I thought I had heard a previous reviewer say that there is no ghost date on these. You sure about that?
It did feel like at and as you can see at 5:41 the crown is out and I'm turning it but nothing is happening
No ghost date. I've asked Hamilton support.
@@TheBalsimo So do you think their tolerances are bad or this one is just broken then Sir
@@ClickSpringReview Please ask the Hamilton support. They told me: no ghost date.
Barry have you got a cold?
Great review. The black for me. Great watch
Debating between this and a Laco
No but it does sound like it in the review :) ps with Laco are you thinking of ?
@@ClickSpringReview just one of their standard cheap fliegers. A lot of bang for your buck
You can't go wrong with one to be fair 👍🏻
You can buy both murph and raco
The whire one could have used a darker tone for the numbers and hands.
yes or black framed
Great review, but neither one strikes a note with me unfortunately.
Its the lack of AR which puts me off :(
Take my money Hamilton!!
White or black ?
Imo the hands and indices should be black on the white model
Yep exactly
So far I've only read that murph doesn't have a ghost date.
As you can see in the video the crown was out and was spinning sir
My e-mail to Hamilton yesterday:
They answered in german today:
Sehr geehrter Kunde,
HAMILTON
Kundendienst"
So, in english: NO ghost date!
I'm not the only reviewer who had the same thing happed, as you can see very clearly in the video the crown is out and it turns with out moving the hands.
I can only guess they used a date model and the setting lever jumper has a long travel between positions
Dials & hands of Hamilton Expedition models are much much better, in my opinion....
I do like the white dial Expedition model
Everytime there's a watch review, someone always comments "I wish it were smaller"... and now Hamilton has overcorrected and is discriminating against those who preferred the original 42mm size!
Its always good to have a choice Samural, for my 7.25icnh wrist I'd probably go for the 38mm myself
The faux patina has always ruined it for me, and the new hanhart overshadows it quite a bit.
Which Hanhart are you thinking of Sir
@@ClickSpringReview Preventor HD12
I've not seen that model before thanks for bring it to my attention 👍🏻
@@ClickSpringReview No problem it actually just released a month ago, but since it's a similar design it is often compared to the murph (actually hamilton used the old ww2 era german design).
Interesting do you know which WW2 watch it was
The Hamilton Murph is a 42mm watch. This is an imposter designed for midgets and girl wrists. Give me the white in 42mm, Hamilton.
I only have 7.25+ wrist's so for me this 38mm is prefect
37-40mm is the perfect size for all men's watches...
