    Hey Eddie !!!
    Great Video my Friend !!!
Eddie the Day I got my Testo 550 , I diagnosed I had a Bad TXV right outa the Box , Techs you cannot just go by Subcool on TXV , my Subcool was Dead On , Once I replaced TXV
and Added a Power Vent , the Upstairs finally started Cooling !!!
I only have 1 Central Return upstairs , I thought that was the Problem , but the Heat from the Attic was the Biggest Issue , you can feel the HEAT Pushing its way thru the Ceiling Drywall !!!
Now I need to Insulate !

Yes trutech sells the u-value kit..
The 327 is a fine choice! The guys at work have them and to tell you the truth I like the build quailty of 327 over the the 330. It just feels more solid on my hands..
    Thanks for watching!

Make sure to air seal in your attic before insulating. Infiltration is one of the biggest energy robbers.

    Hi Eddie,
I found after checking that most of my heat was from my single pane glass windows heating my tile & hardwood floors. So on the west side of my house I tinted and installed shades and boy what a difference I also found leakage around switches & plugs and installed insulation around and backing for crawlspace door.
    Thanks Eddie for the tips.

Use mirror tint, when you use that in the load program that makes the biggest difference

One thing that needs to be mentioned when talking about powered attic fans, is the increased infiltration if the attic floor is not air-sealed. If all penetrations such as wiring, plumbing penetrations, boots, etc... are not sealed, the attic fan will create a slight negative pressure in the house. This happens no matter how many soffit vents there are. This may not sound too bad but, what about the natural draft water heater? An attic fan could prevent venting action causing an unsafe condition.

Thats incredible. I would have never dreamed that a field grade meter existed that could measure and calculate U-value. I almost cheaped out and bought the Fieldpiece hot wire anemometer after pricing the 435 with two remote probes. This has got me reconsidering. Does True-tech have the U-value kit? I do MJ8 on a lot of existing homes
I would like to pick your brain as well sometime. Just bought a 327, hope I didn't make a mistake by not getting the 330.
Best HVAC videos on YT, Keep em coming!

the 435 measures indoor air quality including r-value and btu.. It's amazing what all it can do, but it does not measure refrigerant pressures if that is what you're asking..

It really needs at least a 20 degree temp. differential.

    Good video.
What if you have a mild day and the indoor temp is about the same as outdoor? Will it show a different u-value?

what features would you recommend in a 435? Looks as if you can get it with or without differential pressure. Hotwire or vane? etc.
I see why you prefaced with the auto mechanic comparison. Those guys must be making pretty good money. For $25K I would put all my tools in a new van, lol.
Do you get to use your blower door very often? I have the BPI cert as well. Considering investing in the blower door, etc. Would love to test in and out my own house if nothing else.

Hey can I get your advise. I might have an oversized air conditioner and wanted to how you can tell if is. I have a 1614 sq foot home and climate of 90s high and 70s low. my air conditioner will only run for like ten mins on hottest times of day and 5 on lowest. I have not felt any humidity until today. I got home and I noticed the thermostat was reading higher than the setpoint. I have a design temp of about 95
