I know for most, my numbers are very overwhelming and trust me, I feel it, too! I will post the final videos I have and then I'll be able to record and address some of the comments!
I appreciate the safe space to be this vulnerable and I cannot wait to be able to give you all more real time updates! Look for that video some time this weekend!

Yay for not using your credit cards!! Well done! Cancel them now girl, you’ve proven you don’t need them! Take the leap, it is SO empowering! Xx
THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH!
Yay on shading some boxes! Maybe for Christmas tell your family about your debt free journey and emphasize spending quality time doing something instead of an expensive gift. Quality time could be buying plain mugs and painting them, having a picnic, or having a movie night of movies you enjoyed when you were all younger!
I've already told them all - no gifts this year so we'll be spending the holidays together! Thank you!
Have you considered having fewer sinking funds? Maybe larger categories?
You have the right idea! You and few others have suggested this and I'm going to start this in my October Wrap Up video
Hi Ash! Thank you! I just want to thank you for sharing your journey. My reason is quite simple. I've lived my whole life from paycheck to paycheck, and not doing well at it either! In the last year I've been trying to figure out a way to get ahead of itand RUclips has helped, but I always found people who had their stuff together, knew what they were doing from school or having had it taught to them at home... I have no idea what I'm doing or how to do it, and I wanted to find and follow someone at the beginning of their journey so that I can follow along with my own journey and not feel inadequate or like I should know what they're talking about. Lol. I was one of your first subscribers and I'm rooting for you! Thanks again, and keep up the great work. It takes a lot of courage to be honest with yourself and take charge... you should be proud. 🎉
There has been a uptick in videos showing creators who went back into debt after becoming debt free. Maybe you can share how you will remain debt free after accomplishing your goal.
if you're short for the month a bit, have you considered not renewing your amazon prime right away, it might be worth taking a month break and reassessing how you use it. Thanks for sharing your budget!
Since this is the month that it renews, I may cancel it all together. Thank you!
God job on staying away from the credit card and impulse buys. Seeing squares get colored in is satisfying. Progress
I get so happy when I realize I told myself no and actually stuck to my guns! Thank you!
What’s your profession?
Not swiping your card is so difficult, proud of you!
Love the Monsters Inc reference! 😂❤
You should use highlighters so it’s easier to make things stand out. I use light red for negative and light green for positive.
I moved over to Excel, so hopefully that works! Thank you!
You’re killing it! I’m an accountant and a big fan of personal finance ❤ I know you have a lot of debt to pay down but I want to encourage you that if you have any cash left over from envelopes, start saving in a high yield savings account and/or an auto investment account like Betterment so you’ll make money by saving ❤ I started investing at 22 and it has saved my @$$ so many times! 😅 It will be hard but I think you can do both while still prioritizing paying down debt
ETA: my ex used to give me crap about only saving $50/month to my investment fund but with compound interest and gains I was able to save around $2K to use towards a divorce 😅 all of this to say you don’t have to save/invest a lot per month to make a difference
Congrats on your journey. But remember to change your behavior. Spend less, save more. Don't spend everytime you have a little money. Good luck!
Thank you!!
Congratulations on showing restraint with the credit cards and impulse buys! Keep up the good work! There won't always be great days and interest will get you down but don't give up
THANK YOU!!
Unless you’re interested in a super specific table, my family does Facebook market place and thrift stores for furniture!
It's not a need right now and I'm OK with my TV dinner tray and the couch! I'll check this out once things change. Thank you
Good luck on your debt repayment journey! I've been there too.
One comment - You said that you're setting money aside to pay (Federal?) taxes because you think you'll still owe them. If that's true, perhaps you can request your employer to withdraw more from your salary to put toward taxes.
I'll have to play with the withholdings and I'm CPA shopping to help me. Thank you!
You are so organized, I love it☺. I totally understanding figuring things out off camera, being on camera makes me brain fart sometimes🫣. Keep it up!!!
lol thank you!! I needed this laugh and comment!
Hello. How long do you anticipate it will take to pay off your debt?
She said in a recent video she’s planning to be out of debt by the time she turns 32 and she’s currently 31
Her take home is $113k/ per annum (if I remember correctly) and she has $220k in debt. So even if she had zero rent, utilities, groceries, how can she get this paid down in under two years? Don’t get me started on interest.
@@lauraweiss7875 side hustles maybe? I too don’t believe that this could be done in 2 years but I’m not going to rain on her parade. It’s going to be interesting if she actually pulls it off.
If I do absolutely nothing different from what I'm currently doing, it'll take me six years and one month. My goal is to have it done in 23 months, which will include a second job and any side hustles I can do!
@@budgetsavvyashcash7281I’m excited to watch your progress. Thank you for sharing.
I love how you were determined to find that $25! 🎉
lol when she realized she’s paying over $300 a year on subs she doesn’t need 😂
