    I also did my debt free journey without moving from an expensive apartment, paying pilates and getting manicures. I did different adjustments, gave me the benefit of doubt and with time I finished paying. My strategy was to increase income without increasing expenses. You got this. Just do not add new expenses or debt.

    another right handed cash stuffer. It’s funny but I am too and out of all the cash budgeters I watch it’s rare to see someone who counts right to left. Enjoy your channel. I like how you are doing things that work for you and not following what other people are doing, I like the change. It motivates me to want to change how I do things

    I see what you're saying about putting the money in the eating out envelope. It can go one of two ways: 1. You see the money in the envelope and it gives you permission to spend it. Or 2. You don't fill the envelope and end up breaking another category in order to eat out because you deprived yourself or life got in the way of meal prep. I trust you know yourself to understand how much you're likely to eat out as a single person.

    I think a debt-free journey is different for everyone, to the point that it needs to be tailor-made to you. If eating out or manicures are worth putting money towards because it motivates you to keep going, or you know yourself well enough to know you like convenience of fast food over grocery shopping and cooking, then you have a better chance at being successful than if you lie to yourself or cut yourself off from everything that makes you happy.

      I have masterminded my way out of all it! I now only take the allocated cash I have to spend so if I go over, I have literally no where else to pull from and I have to put something back.

      I know! :( but I'm excited to finally get out of this debt. I've lived this way long enough to know I don't want to do this anymore. Now it's time to get myself out of it, and see what it would be like to actually enjoy my money. Thank you!

    How often do you do car washes? Does it really need its own envelope?

    • @budgetsavvyashcash7281
      @budgetsavvyashcash7281  Год назад

      It's an old envelop I carried over. I now keep that money in my gas envelop because I don't get car washes every two weeks. While that's the goal, it's expensive and a good $1 vacuum and a wipe down usually does the trick for me

      Start one!! It takes some tough skin because 1) it's the internet where almost anything goes and 2) reading the tone online is hard, but 3) there are sooo many positive and support people. You should do it. I bought a tripod from amazon a few years back and it latches onto my desk. I record on my iPhone and edit in iMovie. Everything I've used since restarting has not cost me anything. There are plenty of people to get motivated by. You can do this! Good luck!

    I was just curious about Rent , utilities, and general bills? Do you leave those in the bank?

    • @budgetsavvyashcash7281
      @budgetsavvyashcash7281  Год назад

      Yes I do. Anything that is absolutely essential, I have directly deducted. I'm naturally an impulsive person so I want to make sure I don't even see that money hit my account. That money goes to a completely separate account as soon as I get paid

    • @budgetsavvyashcash7281
      @budgetsavvyashcash7281  Год назад

      Hi there! Not at this moment, it would take me too long to plan around that.
      I tried doing that before and I would let me self "borrow" from the next week's money as justification to keep spending. Maybe I'll reconsider once my habits start changing.
