      @@EngineeringNature what about operating pressure? Did you put it to zero on outlet?

    When constructing a cfd numerical model, one should absolutely calirify assumptions/hypotheses and model limitations. Here at 7:24 the side faces are set to walls... Which greatly slows down airflow on both sides of the car plus, the the drag force is an integral physical quantity so the left and right sides of the car have to be included in the integral with air flowing over both sides for the boundary layer to build up, for a correct drag force prediction, what is done here is fundamentally incomplete, and physically unjustified. Remember, for a PDE solution to be representative of the physical phenomenon it has to be produced consistently, using the correct set of boundary conditions. Check your BCs.

    Very useful tutorial. It helped me a lot. I have a doubt regarding lift coefficient. With the same procedure I solve lift coefficient. But for me it's getting above 3 for lift coefficient and above 4 k lift force. Is that right...please let me know asap. 🙏

      You should verify the dimension unit (mm/meter). Also check the reference value input. Let me know still not get proper value.

    Very useful video but I am getting cd between 3.5-4.5 whereas it should be below 1.Can you guide me where could I be going wrong?

      You should check reference value, update value for projected area.

    hello, thank you for your knowledge, sir, I want to ask why when I do the setup, I get a warning: minimum orthogonal quality below 0.01 . what is the cause and what is the solution sir ,,, thank you

    can you explain to me why the graph of Cd fluctuates but not at a specific number? i use model fastback

    • @EngineeringNature
      @EngineeringNature  2 года назад

      During initial iteration the solution does not reach to the fully developed flow and thus all variables are fluctuating in nature. Once the flow is established/developed, the fluctuation is stopped. Regards.
