    I know this tutorial is almost two years old but it's been super helpful for me starting out. You make it very clear and easy to understand. When every other resource just leads to more questions, yours answers them clearly.Thanks for this!

    1.Mailslot is safe to approach where green light side is but not at the center. Remember - Belugas are widewingy.
    2. 100% thrust in supercruise is good for moving from one interstellar object to another; when in 200Ls or so from the target, switching to 75% thrust, that gives you proper approach speed for a successfull drop down from supercruise at destitation object.
    3. Better fighting experience can be acheived at hazRes sites at stellar object's rings; you can also choose the zone that matches your pew-pew experience by Threat Level grades.
    4. Lasers are better to take down shields, while kinetic weapons (like multicannons) are to crush the hull. Missiles are mostly used vs ground or static installations like turrets in planetary missions.
    5. Hull reinforcements in Optional Internals or Shield boosters in Utility Mounts can increase your ship's durability and survivability dramatically.
    6. Engineering ship modules is a cure against almost all ship's congential diseases like snail-like manouverability or low dps / small range lasers e.t.c..
    7. Try never to fly without enough insurance Credits amount on your account. Otherwise - welcome back my Sidewinder beloved!
    8..
    ..
    X. Respect your enemy. Small opponent ships can smash your medium Python / large Anaconda at no their shield cost when:
    a. You did not set and memorized proper buttons to control your ship (Frontier was confident you knew your personal preferences and you set all keyboard buttons up before pew-pew); )
    b. You, had total 150 milCred, bought Anaconda for 149 milCred - just because you finally could afford it and got into fight;
    c. Bigger ship size is not a cure against more experienced smaller enemy. PERSONAL experience, (your personal, not a rank or in-game experience put in brave words) makes real difference when in a battle; personal player's experience predicts who has more chances to win in another pew-pew..

      Thanks! I enjoyed doing these videos, but didn't feel like paying for an Adobe Premier subscription to continue producing them. But if people are finding them helpful I might resub to adobe and make more videos - although likely for Eve Online since I haven't played Elite in quite a while.

    Goood vid . This is my question though. I accepted a bounty mission and was told to go this this settlement access a computer, to find out where the pirate is. When I got there I was fined for trespassing ? What did I do wrong, what am I missing?

    Bounty hunters have several techniques at their disposal to track down and bring fugitives to justice. It's important to remember that the mix of tools, tricks, and methods are only useful if you know how to use them.
    -IP Address Locator
    -Skip Tracing
    -Background Check & Criminal Records Search
    -Performing Tricks
    -Good Network and Connections
    For bounty hunters, data is intelligence. Arm yourself with lots of it.

    I noticed after coming back after almost a year, that when I look and find a wanted ship I used to look to my right panel and I could see the ships factions allegiance. For may be nothing more than roleplaying purposes, I never attacked federation aligned ships because I wanted my rep to be as high as possible. But now I can't find out how to quickly view affections allegiance anymore. Can someone help me with this?

    • @marshingo5262
      @marshingo5262 4 года назад

      In the left panel where they are wanted It will say what faction not major power (major power is fed, alliance, empire) factions are like states within them. Although if they're wanted they probably committed crimes against the federation ;)

    one question from a new player when u fly to a nav beacon does it have to be scanned? or do u fly there than start looking for ur bounty

    Great tutorial. Bummer you apparently only made 3 videos.

  • @Castodas
    @Castodas 3 года назад

    Sorry, I thumbed it down because too much of the video was about navigation and distracted from bounty hunting- which was the reason I searched for videos on bounty hunting. You could have gone into more detail about power usage or talked a little about techniques. Or otherwise chop out everything that was purely navigation. Just for reference, all that stuff I am referring to could be useful for mining/trading/exploring but is not really about mining/trading... But probably most suitable for a video about exploration.
    I thought you did a very good job on your presentation and as many have mentioned you were very clear in your explanations. Sorry, I apologize if that sounds patronizing.

    But how to do Bounty Hunter missions

  • @theleggend27
    @theleggend27 2 года назад

    All my bounties jump into supercruise or just perform a hyperscpace jump to another system and i can't follow then cuz they can travel further than me.. i guess they use fsd when they are low on health, and it's a pain in the ass cuz i spend almost all my rockets and ammo just for them to escape... i spent 60,000cr of ammo on 1 dude that escaped from me 3 times alredy and the reward for him is 180,000cr.... how do i stop this from hapening ?

    You talk about shifting "pips" - what are you doing when you say that?

    • @samposey522
      @samposey522 4 года назад +3

      That's power management, SYS/ENG/WEAP it's bound to the arrows on keyboard and it allows you to allocate more power to systems at the sake of starving the others. Say you need to move quickly, put power to engines and loop around, divert power to weapons and blast away, then switch to systems for shield Regen. Down arrow resets to balanced distribution.
