Just want to clarify something. This terminal cup is designed for people who need to frequently take their box out of the car for some reason or another. I wouldn't use it in a system where the box is permanent or otherwise not meant to come out daily. We have other GREAT terminal cups for larger systems that don't move! Hey what about a small magnetic cover for the cup. When you remove it if the wiring falls into the trunk or whatever it could pick up metal shavings. Just an idea. My entire trunk is filled with my box I regret not making it easier to remove.

At least you don't have to worry about the magnets loosing strength. Neo Magnets start loosing strength at around 80 degrees Celsius ... depending which rating you are using some only last till 65 degrees Celsius. One limiting factor I see is the limit of the cable/connection in that terminal cup able to go to the subs. Second one is the strength of the magnet when blasting those subs to their limit on huge systems.

Cant wait for them qr1s. I'm building a box to have it in the back seats and remove when I need the back seats. It's a crew cab pickup so there isn't any space unless I remove the seats completely.

Those terminals are awsome. They'll make it easy for removing trunk enclosures as you said but also vehicles with external setups for at the beach or car shows can have a permanent connection location that is fairly weather proof and would make it a quick install or removal of those speaker boxes. May invest in a couple when i get my roof mounted enclosures for my blazer done

If you make these Ill be buying them for my first system in about 2 years, when I get my car licence. Normally using the sub daily but when I need to transport something larger, just take the sub out and there you go

Plus some of it comes down to he needs to not get copyrighted by youtube so using his own music he avoids needing to ask someone else for the rights as im sure steve would have full rights to use the song in most ways
Those terminals would be a plus like you said if you wanted to quickly remove your sub box out of the vehicle and don't have to seal with the push spring terminals.
