I own a 34 ft Marine Trader which I keep on the Gulf coast of Florida. I am Canadian and enjoy your videos of the Trent Severn waterway and the North Channel. Enjoy your cruise and the boat. Mine is a 1983 and runs great. Ford Lehman engines never die!
I'm a 76 year old male out of New Zealand. We had a motor home for many years but got health issues now so it looks like I will be able to live your experiences with you. I will go back to your start so I get to know you both. I miss the travelling. Take care.
Hi Alf, sorry to hear about your health issues but we are happy we can share these experiences with you! New Zealand was one of our favorite countries we’ve visited and would love to go back. The Te Araroa trial is on our bucket list.
I've been quietly perusing through some of your videos, as I also enjoy traveling, and normally I don't leave a comment. This time I must say, though, the scenery is stunningly beautiful.
It is a good idea to bring along some iso alcohol for poison ivy. I wash up with it if I suspect that I may have come in contact. Wash regularly between your fingers as they are in contact with shoe laces. Great show and welcome to Canada.
My dogs love boating so much they would be in heaven, just like Ollie is. That view was amazing! I cant help but think about how far you have come since breaking your wrist and starting over. You both know how to pivot to your best advantage and that's a skill not everyone has. Good job pulling all of tis together! I can see the enjoyment going up with each passing day.
Thank you so much Lynn. We honestly can’t believe it as well when we think back to the uncertainty and challenges when we started this boating journey… it’s been very eye opening and invigorating!
Great video. Challenging hike but the view made it totally worth it. Oh and the “ He - Man Breakfast” what more could you ask for 😎 You will need to buy Ollie a kid’s pool and put some rocks in it to keep her happy now that you are in salt water. 🙂
Casson Peak. O...M...G... what an amazing view. This is definitely now on our boating destination list. When our boat comes out of the water, we hike late-fall to mid-spring, and then boat back in we are on the water mid spring to late fall. These last couple videos combine our favorite things in the world. Great boating with great hiking. We are more than a little jealous. The best hikes have a vista as a reward, and that view is pure amazing. Thank-you for such awesome content. You are curating our future boating adventures for us. ;)
Canada never disappoints with its beauty! This looked like such a fun day full of great activities and yummy food! Ollie sure had a great time swimming even if she did get booped in the head…she didn’t seem to care! 😂 Thanks for sharing another gorgeous location!
Aug 9, 2020 we were tied to almost the same tree for a great stay in Mary Anne Cove. It was the only location on our Georgian Bay and North Channel travels where we had no cell phone reception.
Referred to as "The Pool" because it is almost almost enclosed on all sides and scooped out like a swimming pool. Also, in years where the Great Lakes water temps are running above normal (less snow/ice melt), the water temp in The Pool can actually approach swimming pool-like temps in the upper 70's. You can tell Ollie is getting more comfortable swimming as she is putting her head down, pushing her butt up and leveling out her back and swimming like the pro dogs do.
We never considered Ollie a swimming dog, although we did expose her to creeks and water while we lived in Atlanta. Her love for rocks on this journey has sparked something in her!
A little farther back down the route, the rocks are flat slate and they skip. My siblings, cousins, and I must have put a couple of tons back in the Trent canal over the years. I'm working on filling Lake Simcoe back in now. It's a great way to blow a two year old's mind, and they continue the tradition. Trust me, the North Channel has room for a few more rocks.

Those reflections from the first anchorage were stunning! And holy cow, that hike view!!! 😍
It was like Wonderland!! 😍
Ollie knows a good swimming hole when she sees one. 😁
Loving the north channel footage
Beautiful group of seven locations
Another great video! Do you guys fish at all?
Thanks Jeff! No, we don’t ever really fish…
What a beautiful place. Thank you for taking us there!

A good place to escape this crazy world.
Incredible!
Seriously! Such a beautiful area of the world...
We spend 2 weeks in the North Channel every year for the past 15 years. We love it.
It’s a fantastic place!

Haha that is a great idea, a rock pool would make her world 😂
Enjoy you channel so much! Might think about getting Ollie a water throw toy instead of rocks from the bank. 😊
We've tried! Perhaps we'll try again!

We love to hike as well, and are looking forward to diving more into that next year! Cheers!

Wow, you guys are troopers. Fell off the journey for a while as so busy. But this part really looks so beautiful & cool.
Hi, we live in Ontario and spend our summers in the islands all summer, we have travelled through out this area.
What an amazing spot to spend your summers!
We kept our boat in Lake Erie for years and summer trips with our boat took us to Mackinac Island and Georgian bay so beautiful we agreed

Such a great anchorage!
Yay No Boats is made in Truro Nova Scotia, you guys should come to Atlantic Canada and spend a Summer!
Absolutely! It’s on the bucket list!
21:56 I think she was looking for an on-camera smooch but you had your eyes closed and missed the signal. 🧐
Never give me the "what needs to be used up" challenge unless you're ready for ANYTHING. Especially if it's drinkables that need used.

My boat has a 1.6m draft
Can I do the great loop?
Why don’t you get Ollie a proper water toy😆.
haha, she has toys but something about rocks and shells does it for her... perhaps we will have to experiment some more!
That looks a bit like our world class boating water ways in the PNW...looks beautiful!
ruclips.net/video/PYYfOiHsjk0/видео.html
PNW boating is on our bucket list!
Please stop throwing rocks in the water. You are a visitor in Canada and this is disrespectful
Thanks
You’re kidding right. 🙂
We're loving Ollie's rock retrievals.
U having a laugh 😃? This couple is extremely respectful with Mayberry like manners.

Of all the things to worry about. 🤔

Haha she really does
