Considering how quickly and easily Snape caught everyone else, I can't help but feel that he knew Harry was there but deliberately let him listen in any way.
In the book Harry and Ron were walking and overheard snap and igor’s conversation and they actually did get caught. Snape said to Harry and Ron something along the lines of, “Out for a romantic walk in the evening,” or something like that
@@AngstyAnon Actually, he said "Keep walking.", “And what are you two doing?” he added, catching sight of Harry and Ron on the path ahead. Karkaroff, Harry saw, looked slightly discomposed to see them standing there. His hand went nervously to his goatee, and he began winding it around his finger. “We’re walking,” Ron told Snape shortly. “Not against the law, is it?” “Keep walking, then!” Snape snarled, and he brushed past them, his long black cloak billowing out behind him. Karkaroff hurried away after Snape. Harry and Ron continued down the path."

@Kefou Kefak Dumbledore was awful and selfish too. He only did things his way and dragged all the people with him. He didn't care if they got hurt or not in the process if it meant he could get what he wanted.
Only Alan Rickman's portrayal of him. In the book, Snape is unbearable, petty, and vindictice, he never really got over Marauders' bullying of him. He basically bullies students (mainly Gryffindor students, preferably Harry and Neville) to vent his anger and grudge. Sure his love for Lily softens him somewhat, but that doesn't change the fact that he's a sadistic, unfair, and unprofessional teacher to his students.
@Kefou Kefak First, Snape was not selfish, as he sacrificed everything to save the wizarding world. And no, he did not do that for Lily, as he continued to work for good even after Dumbledore died, after revealing that Harry must die - making his promise to protect Harry so her death is not in vain insignificant. And sorry, but if his taunting was the price for constant protection, risking his own life, then it was. Actions speak louder than words. Snape never crossed Hogwards rules with his teaching methods like Moody, Hagrid, Dumbledor or Umbridge did. It's a small detail but I love it whenever we're reminded that students from other houses get together. A big thing that I didn't like about the movies was how divided the houses were. Also Snape remembers names and houses AND just redacted points for horniness. And then proceeds to search more carriages for students. We miss you every day Severus
elessal Not that I'm being a Trollinator BUT BUT he'd probably also have X-Ray vision not to dissimilar to Superman if you think about it though probably able to 'scan and analyze' one's heart beat and blood floor and skeletal framework ... rather than just 'the bare skin and flesh...'
vincent nguyen Well - not that I'm being a Trollinator BUT BUT surely you would have seen such scenes in some other films - well Gone in 60 Seconds for starters is one - or perhaps some horror films and such? And besides - let's just say its 'people's moments of intimacy and privacy ...
Jakira Kumahata yea there were scenes in the book where he was checking out the girls at the ball and made I think one of the patil twins feel uncomfortable
As funny as it is to see Snape relentlessly search for inappropriate teens, I don't blame him one bit. The "reality"(I use this word lightly in this universe) of it is that if you send a kid back from boarding school on break with a baby, you're probably going to have some very angry parents after you😅
Snape is the best triple spy ever spying on Voldemort for Dumbledore and then spying on Dumbledore for Voldemort all the while protecting Harry his name should be 007 Severus Snape he's a better spy than James Bond
+ellenkingsley he actually didnt spy on Dumbledore, he just told Voldemort what Dumbledore and Snape decided together to tell, Snape would never tell Voldemort something Dumbledore didnt aprove as "information" for Voldemort. ofc from Voldemorts PoV he was a spy on Dumbledore.
I like Snape too. It is because he always was on Dumbledore's side and he worked with the dark lord too. [SPOILER] Snape killing Dumbledore was planned so he didn't betray him.
GeXo Razz But isn't it odd how Dumbledore - how he didn't hire Snape to help him hunt down the Horcruxes? Given surely Snape was the ideal candidate if you think about it ... his fascination w' the Dark Arts YET where we get Dumbledore who curses himself to his doom and Snape was quite angry and upset in the novel anyhow where Dumbledore had done such a 'foolish thing' when the Cursed Ring contained quite a 'curse of extraordinary power' ... surely Snape would have been the ideal candidate to secretly hunt down the Horcruxes and destroy them? I mean if he was planted as a double-agent to Voldemort - why not also hunt down Horcruxes eh?
GeXo Razz Pretty sure Snape couldn't care anything more or less really on Voldemort - considering he worked real hard to protect Harry - Lily's legacy and the fact he was loyal to Dumbledore - pretty sure Snape couldn't give a 'Fawkes' about it haha - and consider where Dumbledore implored Snape to kill him - Snape was clearly less than thrilled or happy to do such a thing - and not to mention Voldemort is a killer psychopath as Rowling described his character - he would go 'curse-happy' and kill unfortunate suckers - I'll bet enemy and friend even if they're loyal to him - I mean killed Snape despite Snape being one of his 'most loyal' Death Eater servants ...
Hmm, maybe Snape didn't have the skills to locate horrcruxes? Remember that Tom (Young Voldermort) asked Slughorn about the horrcruxes and he told him everything about it.
Alan Rickman almost didn't take the role as Snape. It wasn't till JK told him what his true heart was like and how he cared for Harry and also he had a lot of nieces and nephews begging him to take to up the roll. You should Google the guy that nearly played him. Tom Roth and OMG was he UGLY! So thankful Alan took the roll!
What an actor was Alan Rickman. His role in this scene is perfect. The movements, the chosen words and the background conversation while he's catching the kids. I miss him in every movie he has worked in. Sorry about my english!
I found it amusing watching Severus stop students from making out while Igor is trying to converse with him. 😅 But that little defensive stance of pulling his arm back when he reaches to grasp it? My heart. 😢 More so seeing his memories in the next movies and knowing his past too. 😤
50 Karkaroff don't make one Snape. I love that point in the books when Dumbledore tells Snape that Karkaroff is leaving the country in fear of Voldemort and asks him if he's going to do the same, and Snape answers back "no. I'm not such a coward".
The difference is that Karkaroff publicly threw a load of Death Eaters in jail to escape imprisonment and told everything he knew about Voldemort. Snape played his part secretly and very well
For those of you wondering, the reason Igor wanted to see Snape’s arm is because of the Death Eater’s dark mark on his arm. Both of Snape’s and Karkoroff’s dark marks were blacker which is a sign that Voldemort was growing stronger and Igor was terrified of that.
dianna k Come to think of it, I wish they had kept a certain delightful chapter called 'Career Advice' in the movie (at least in portions). McGonagall: May I offer you a cough drop Dolores? McGonagall: I believe I should have made myself clear. Potter has received good marks in Defense Against the Dark Arts test set by a COMPETENT teacher. McGonagall: I will make it my life's mission to make Potter an Auror if it's the last thing I do! I have many issues with the WB version of HP but no issue I have, would surpass my angst with this scene being entirely left out.
Igor's acting is way over the top. And both of their lurching around like they're about to start breakdancing is distracting. I can see why they cut the scene.
@I it develops and adds a great addition to the death eater plot and the characters but with realistic comedic relief and contrast. Shows snapes conviction and igors fear. And how harry wants to have all the normal experiences thats his peers have had but the more important things and the world keep forcing him to his destiny even though its sad. And classic crouch in disguise as moody always there watching. Almost feel like crouch admired harry in a weird way but was always commited to the death eater cause regardless
See a lot of negative complaints. Snape is just doing his job. My guess is Dumbledore set a rotation schedule. He did it for an hour and another teacher took over.
@@hahahahat7492 Nah, most schools try to block any sex happening on campus as a liability issue. After all, if some self-entitled parent's "darling" gets pregnant/gets someone pregnant on school grounds, the teachers are on the chopping block as acceptable scapegoats while letting said parents ignore THEIR own responsibility in raising said kids NOT to know that safe sex is the only acceptable option if you're going to have sex. Meanwhile, if the same action can be pinpointed as happening outside of the school, it's the parents and students' problems, the school is not liable. It's sad, but there's a LOT of self-entitled parents who act like teachers are replacement parents and babysitters who are supposed to do the parents' jobs for them

I love how Snape was being one hundred percent genuine about not wanting to join Voldemort. He probably went and reported what happened to Dumbledore about Igor immediately
Man, snape was the best, always.....idk why some people hate him because he's so serious all the time, but even if you have everh felt lonely or depressed or lost someone or yourself, you know how he feels and the only way for him to not go crazy and live on was to shut all his emotions after he lost lily, he always loved harry, he just never showed it
he is my favorite harry potter character but I dont think people hate him just for that its more because hes a child abuser and I think he caused nevilles parents deaths indirectly if I remember correctly
@@S.D.323 He wasn't responsible for the torture of Alice and Frank Longbottom, Neville's parents. It was Bellatrix Lestrange who performed the Cruciatus Curse on them. Additionally, Neville's parents didn't die if you've read the books properly.

And now Hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry presents, professor Snape, the newest and most effective conception method in all of the wizarding world
Oooh knowing the meaning behind that “I have nothing to be scared of, Igor. Can you say the same?” line from Snape makes this so satisfying! Because Karkaroff bought his freedom by snitching out some of his fellow Death Eaters but Snape was able to maintain his innocence without saying a thing! (Thanks to Dumbledore, of course!) He never openly betrayed the Death Eaters so Voldemort’s return wouldn’t scare him! But that snitch Karkaroff was shaking in his boots!

0:42 I like it how Snape acts like a cop
i know right 😃
He’d fit right in at the Ministry’s Department of Magical Law Enforcement
vadimzdonutube I think those are called aurors
The only man you can depend on when you’re in a bad state.
Lol same😂
Btw I’m your 700th like!😁❤️
Condoms: 99% effective contraceptive
Severus Snape: 100% effective contraceptive
It's a small detail but I love it whenever we're reminded that students from other houses get together. A big thing that I didn't like about the movies was how divided the houses were. Also Snape remembers names and houses AND just redacted points for horniness. And then proceeds to search more carriages for students. We miss you every day Severus
I love the way snape says “i dont know were you talking about” the way is came out of his mouth is incredible 😂😂😂
YES the delivery was incredible 😭😭😭
@@flunked yeah its awesome 😂😂😂😂
Everybody talking about Snape. I'm more worried about crazy Barty Crouch Jr. looking at me having sex with an x-ray vision eye.
not just that. he can see any female student nude whenever he want.
elessal Not that I'm being a Trollinator BUT BUT he'd probably also have X-Ray vision not to dissimilar to Superman if you think about it though probably able to 'scan and analyze' one's heart beat and blood floor and skeletal framework ... rather than just 'the bare skin and flesh...'
why r people making out in cars?
vincent nguyen Well - not that I'm being a Trollinator BUT BUT surely you would have seen such scenes in some other films - well Gone in 60 Seconds for starters is one - or perhaps some horror films and such? And besides - let's just say its 'people's moments of intimacy and privacy ...
Jakira Kumahata yea there were scenes in the book where he was checking out the girls at the ball and made I think one of the patil twins feel uncomfortable
I guess that's the only Hufflepuff getting action in the past 100 years.
HHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA^^^
Rene Aensland I'm a Hufflepuff and I agree
Rene Aensland hey 😑not cool dude not cool
BB-8 exactly
yeah but the most savage was....
RIP CEDRIC
As funny as it is to see Snape relentlessly search for inappropriate teens, I don't blame him one bit. The "reality"(I use this word lightly in this universe) of it is that if you send a kid back from boarding school on break with a baby, you're probably going to have some very angry parents after you😅
I love Harry's hair in this movie. It's so long.
Snape is the best triple spy ever spying on Voldemort for Dumbledore and then spying on Dumbledore for Voldemort all the while protecting Harry his name should be 007 Severus Snape he's a better spy than James Bond
ellenkingsley AMEN!!!!
+MieKayla Singleton amen!
Rest in peace Severus Snape/ Alan Rickman.
fata muijna like shit. I just found out about his passing. I was like, "oh no!" Like, i wasn't ready for that shit.
I don't care what anyone says, Snape is awesome! xD
Yeah I'm with you man, It is pretty weird. I guess Snape didn't want to betray Voldermort or Dumblerdore.
I love the way that Snape says ‘can you say the same?’ 🤣
Igor: Then perhaps you dont mind rolling up your sleeve
Snape: BITCH DONT TOUCH ME I M NOT GAY
Hahaha lol
U sure about that snape-
I love Igor's face when Snape was being Hogwarts' sex police
Rickman happens to be the perfect Sanpe :D
Alan Rickman almost didn't take the role as Snape. It wasn't till JK told him what his true heart was like and how he cared for Harry and also he had a lot of nieces and nephews begging him to take to up the roll. You should Google the guy that nearly played him. Tom Roth and OMG was he UGLY! So thankful Alan took the roll!
***** I totally agree cause I am in love with Severus and I wouldn't have been like that if anyone had have played him
RIP
@@hermionemalfoy4082 You mean Tim Roth? Lol the disrespect to a fine actor.
What an actor was Alan Rickman. His role in this scene is perfect. The movements, the chosen words and the background conversation while he's catching the kids. I miss him in every movie he has worked in.
Sorry about my english!
Your English is wonderful
I found it amusing watching Severus stop students from making out while Igor is trying to converse with him. 😅
But that little defensive stance of pulling his arm back when he reaches to grasp it? My heart. 😢 More so seeing his memories in the next movies and knowing his past too. 😤
*AGGRESSIVE SNAPE NOISES*
XD
50 Karkaroff don't make one Snape. I love that point in the books when Dumbledore tells Snape that Karkaroff is leaving the country in fear of Voldemort and asks him if he's going to do the same, and Snape answers back "no. I'm not such a coward".
Snape was never a coward..he was the bravest man..but it's really painful when he called "coward" by Harry and prof macgonigall ..
@@sipraroy8043 exactly. Betraying Dark Lord for years..that takes hell lot of courage.
Snape: "Sorry, I don't know what you're talking about."
Sassy Severus
I wish so many scenes weren't deleted from the movie, this is one of those scenes!!
If you but the movie on Apple TV, this scene is in there😋
dianna k Come to think of it, I wish they had kept a certain delightful chapter called 'Career Advice' in the movie (at least in portions).
There are several more important scenes lol
I think it was more like he had different teachers and chaperones strategically placed around the school.
...and because he is the youngest of the staff
Or maybe he just did it because why the hell not xD
@@hahahahat7492 Nah, most schools try to block any sex happening on campus as a liability issue. After all, if some self-entitled parent's "darling" gets pregnant/gets someone pregnant on school grounds, the teachers are on the chopping block as acceptable scapegoats while letting said parents ignore THEIR own responsibility in raising said kids NOT to know that safe sex is the only acceptable option if you're going to have sex. Meanwhile, if the same action can be pinpointed as happening outside of the school, it's the parents and students' problems, the school is not liable.
It's sad, but there's a LOT of self-entitled parents who act like teachers are replacement parents and babysitters who are supposed to do the parents' jobs for them
@@irondragonmaiden Sometimes there are also laws to force authorities to do this. For example in Germany the supervisor of a group must make sure that nothing is happening. For example seperated sleep rooms for girls and boys or not encouriging it.
But of course you can not prevent it... Always.
DUDE I will defend Snape’s teaching forever
He knew their names and what houses they were in when they were out of uniform
If he didn’t care at all he wouldn’t bother
😂😂😂 loved snape. He was not evil to the students he did care but was a bit cold to them. Scenes like this were so damn funny
a bit? he always bullied his students even before harry started going to hogwarts. and he bullied neville the most. but he did kinda care about them though. in this he’s not scared, just worried for the other students
@@saklee1777 stop this foolishness it was pretty common in Hogwarts
Infact McGonagall teach students to kill kittens and Hagrid fed buckbeak slaughtered pets
@@saklee1777 The movies softened Snape's character quite a bit and cut out most of his bullying.
He might not be evil but that doesn’t change the fact that he’s an adult that spent most his time bullying kids.
The films really lightened the characters of Snape and Draco (also Bellatrix and Voldemort to a lesser extent).
This scene was actually in the Book, except Ron was hiding with Harry when they were turned down by their dates at the Yule Ball
and the lovers were in bushes
Actually, I think they turned down their dates.
They were in the bushes listening to Hagrid flirt with Madame Maxime. Along with Rita skeeter as the bug
Apurv Chaturvedi I almost didn’t remember this except for Rita Skeeter.
Gus Dykstra Yeah I remember tha
well at least he only take 10 points.
I'm sure any other teacher would've deducted just five!
Hail Fang shuda just opened the door very slowly, and stood there waiting for them to stop and leave then taking their points, preventing them from leaving while they...continue...or contemplate what to do next
in my school, you would get three days suspension at best and expulsion at worst for underage sex.
@@PissG don't forget this is just a movie.
If it was Gryffindor he would have deadass taken 50 points each
Nobody is gonna mention the adorable startled sound he makes when karkaroff tries to touch his arm ?😂😂
YES IT’S SO PRECIOUS
Severus Snape, plotting dark things, while at the same time makes sure his students are well behaved!
Only Alan could look so intimidating while staring into someone higher than him! Great actor! So powerful!
R.I.P Alan Rickman.

I love how he's so dramatic in this scene with his actions! They should have kept it
I'd say Snape is being too lenient on the point taking. Given the situation these kids were in, if I was Snape, I would be taking 60 points from both houses and give them 5 detentions.
Whole time, I was like, "Yes, Snape with your sexy voice!!!!"
Well at least now we know where Harry was during Ron and Hermoine's argument 😂
mickyjoe97 I was just thinking that
OMG FUCKING GOD YOUR RIGHT
Oh yeah i always was like where tf did Harry go.

Harry: *about to tell her what he witnessed between Snape and Igor*
God damn now I wanna see it with the other scenes around it
Igor: Let's see your arm!
Snape: LOL, NOPE!

this is why I read comments hahahaha amazing
Kimmy Cub thats so true

I just love how he just knows the names and houses of those students. They aren't even in his house.
They weren’t even wearing their house colors since they’re not in uniform at the ball! Damn, Snape is really good at this.
“I have nothing to be scared of, Igor.” Snapes voice is SO HOT I CANT
0:45 NO POINT'S FROM GRYFFINDOR?! ONLY FROM RAVENCLAW AND HUFFLEPUFF?! I LOVE YOU SEVERUS!!! 😂
Snape is senpai ❤️
+sarah farhan
Person 1: "Give up, he doesn't like you."
Person 2 (to their senpai): "NOTICE ME SENPAI!"
Curious? Do you think Severus would ever let a girl he liked call him Senpai if he knew what the word meant? ;)
Snape-pai
Senpai means upperclassman
Why must I find Snape so hot?
What the fuck...
Camilo Guzman hahahahahah , jesus christ that was incredible !!
My word, your reply made me happy. I don't even know why.
Maybe because obsession with Alan Rickman's voice makes me identify strongly with your comment.
+Lucy Shiels His voice god! My whole body just burns and melts when I hear it!!! If I could have one wish granted in the whole wide world it would be so that I could have Severus Snape read me an erotic book on a couch snuggled up in cozy blankets together in front of a warm hot burning fire during the evening while it was snowing outside!!! XD
Karkaroff: YOU ARE SCARED SEVERUS
Also Karkaroff: Proceeds to flee for his life in Terror when Voldemort returns
Snape definitely would of been a strict father , he would of been a father who taught his child discipline for sure.
has any one ever watched this at .5 speed, snape sounds drunk and its the funniest thing ever
Omg thanks
Yeah lol 😂
The next deleted scene is Snape waking up with the daddy of all hangovers, just a montage of him trying to stand up without getting a headache.
0:44-49 Snape's move there (which was hilarious 😂👌🏼 ) Snape is too awesome. Books and the movies. ❤️
I love how Snape was being one hundred percent genuine about not wanting to join Voldemort. He probably went and reported what happened to Dumbledore about Igor immediately
why do i find it so adorable when snape lifts up his hand!
SAAAAAAAAME
I love Snape's voice
Snape: Cockis Blockus Maxima
His hair with snow is so beautiful

I wish this scene were in the movie.
Bisexual Witch Ahni i wish it was too it would of brought the best out of the film and we could see more of snape
Ahni Follett sameee
I watched it on tv today and it was
prolly deleted cause they didn't want to sexualize harry potter
and because of that half the people believe that every character with no known relationships or not married is either a lonely virgin or just asexual
Then why did they have Harry and Hermione nude in the hallucination in Deathly Hallows? I was like 9 when i first saw it
And I like that way.
They honestly should have tho maybe I would have been more interested 🥂like even the main characters and there relationship is just so tame, vanilla, moaning myrtle had more steamy moments with Harry than Hermione and Ron
And now Hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry presents, professor Snape, the newest and most effective conception method in all of the wizarding world
I'M GONNA DIE HOW THE FUCK HAVE I NEVER SEEN THIS
cause it got cut out
Severus Snape is the best character ever created
I find it funny that cockblocking students is more important to Snape than Voldemort's return.
But that snitch Karkaroff was shaking in his boots!
yeah. and he was just calling igor a coward
