Thank you so much for this, I ended up getting more high than planned so being able to watch this back sober is another amazing experience, I hand painted my leather vest and Simon 🥁 signed it after the gig!
@@euan6424Think they've forgot how to play anything else at this point! Saw them first 10 years ago. Setlist has barely changed in this time, only difference I've seen is they added See you In Hell and Hear the Sirens. Crackers, I'd love some deeper cuts, sometime!
@@euan6424 Yeah, I saw them in 2019 and then in 2023 and they played exactly the same songs. I still had a great time tho. Although I think Jus telling they're about to play something from the new album and then playing like a 6 year old song was hilarious.
I'm not really suggesting it didn't sound good. I'm just surprised to see him use an Epiphone instead of a usual Gibson, and also seeing Marshalls instead of Orange amps. Wondering what's up with the setup change. Just curious, no neg evaluations here. @denisblack9897
@@TheJwolf1101so he actually wrote the first few albums with EW on an koren epiphone G-400 which i'm guessing he modded as well. he switched to the gibson SG deluxe only in the 2010s (i guess when he got the money for it) and these last couple years has been playing on a newer-year epiphone sg special P-90 (i have one in blue it's such a good guitar)
Been thinking of swapping my pickups for Seymour Duncan phat cat p90s. They’re essentially p90s in a humbucker size. Seeing Jus using p90s just solidified my decision!
Ima agree with other dude. When I play 90% electric wizard songs on guitar I play them in B standard, and the fretwork matches what I'd be playing in B

Heck yeah, this band rules! I hope we get a new album in 2024.
And a tour! I'm waiting for over 10 years to see them again!
I would drive 8+ hours recovering from a back surgery to see them if they toured soon. The Wizard grants healing powers.
Glad I was able to see them in Salt Lake City of all places. Once in a lifetime opportunity...
I’m kinda ready for a road trip
So this is what’s at the center of a black hole? So heavy it causes gravity to collapse
The MIGHTY WIZARD!

I’m jealous - I haven’t seen them yet

@@ayysasukedirectly in front yes! 😈
@@jammybadger9311i would love to see wizard so much man. they are my favorite band of all time.

I wanna live that dream too, mr pool! The date for Mexico was cancelled without explanation
Best band ever
Nothing off wizard bloody wizard?
They jammed a lot at this show!
That ending was INSANE !!!!
Thanks for sharing!!!
they've barely changed setlist for years now it's a bit disappointing
Was hoping against hope they would have played Mourning of the Magicians at some point

Quickly rushes around gathering rolling equipment....
Was right at the front for this gig. Fucking fantastic
HAIL THE WIZARD!!!!!!!!!
The Wizzaaaaaaaaard
Jus is the man
An amazing setlist
it's sad, they don't play dopethrone songs regularly just one or two
Love them, but ... their set is utterly predictable, and unchanging.
I mean, you could say the same about many other bands who have written epically mind melting shit… they will play it, and play it well.
Maybe you should drop next time 🤷🏻♂️
Awes
Thermonuclear!
nice ty.
Supercoven is bone breaking
57:07 😮❤
SG Guitars + Black Rickenbacker Bass, lots of DOOM and STONE attitude
how could anything go wrong?
Is he playing an Epiphone? It actually looks sharp.
He’s playing blues scale. It sounds great on any guitar

I was surprised too. With p90s!

This is my favorite Matt Berry project. Hail Satan!
they're old now 😥
Jealous you got to see supercoven
Where'd Clayton go? The new guy is great, but Clayton gave quite a boost to the energy of the band! SATAN'S SATYRS!!!!
Epiphone p90
They low tuned c
B

@@pedroc834 It's 100% C in this set. The self titled is also in C, most are in B from what I remember, Dopethrone is somewhere between Ab and B.
@@SixteenJacobsCreams Let Us Prey is also on C standard.
Love em but they need to lose that vocal echo immediately.
