Love videos. Giving me some good ideas about to build up my next farm on console. Just only issue I ever had was those pesky lime spots messing with my ocd lol. But seriously keep up the good work
Great vid. I hate to admit, I'm a sucker for the static camera view, but you had a clear mission for this session (field prep) and did it with both views (to keep it interesting). Sorry for enjoying the sped up version of your game play (more work for you to keep us entertained), but you matched it up with some good back ground audio. Overall another great session, keep it up. :-)
Taken from the FS22 academy site: “Regular rollers are used after sowing, when the field is already cultivated and the seeds are in the soil. With a roller, you condense the soil, and therefore increase its quality to increase the yield.” That said because of this I haven’t personally tried doing it before seeding because I thought maybe the order mattered. Maybe someone else for sure from their own personal try knows if that’s true or not.
It sets the field to the seedbed status if you do it before and after plowing deep cultivating but the same can be achieved with a disc harrow, shallow cultivator or power harrow. I rolling tried after seeding on a test map along with other surfaces to see which worked but it didn't do anything in real life rolling after seeding is what's normally done
Also rolling removes small stones if you have them which I thought I did in the one field but turns out they were large ones so they didn't get removed as hoped
@@SimFarmer some of those fields on elm creek have large and small stones, I got caught out by that also, rolled the small 1s and still had to go back and pick the large 1s after
How do you get the bakery pallets to load like that mine are oriented the opposite way and spread out it would be a huge help you have them spawn like that?
Because that area already has full fertilization either frm the area not being harvested so fertilizer not used or where the grass was plowed in that added fertilizer to the ground so didn't need anymore
Small but funny mistake, at 0:01 we are on Haut Beyleron and then the video continues on Elmcreek. 😆🥰
Yeah not sure how I didn't spot that when editing
Watching your videos of extending fields always give me ideas. Good video

Yeah they were areas that had full fertilization so could'nt apply more so it left them showing the lime
@@SimFarmer thank for replying. I stared watching when you did cater lake and it was amazing
A little woopsie on the intro?😉 Welcome to Haut-Beyleron🤪
Yeah not sure how I missed that 😕
Nice edit/music timing there at 6:36
Very good nice video Sim farmer 👍
😅
Awesome video as always. Truly inspiring on your game play.

Welcome to Haut Beyleron ? 😅 i love your videos 👍 good work !
I missed changing it to Elmcreek somehow
@@SimFarmer 😋
Excellent video sim, does rolling the fields to the seedbed status increase yield or do you only get the extra 5% yield if you roll after sowing

@@Stevie4KGaming yeah, think I may just switch them off bit of a pain to do and sped up you can't really see what's happening anyway
Very good
Thanks
Can someone explain how its possible to extend your field without an plow or how to enable an subsoiler to do it? Do I need a mod for that?
Its a script mod for PC only, its found in the game built in modhub
@@Takao_Aoki thank you
9:29 what is this?free lime?
Cool vid🤗
Not free but very cheap
Is it know normal that subsoilers are able to create fields, or is that feature still a mod?
No you need the allow create fields mod to use them
@@SimFarmer Ok, thank you :)
lettuce give more profit than Strawberry
How do you get the bakery pallets to load like that mine are oriented the opposite way and spread out it would be a huge help you have them spawn like that?
Question to use the subsoiler to also create fields is that a mod or no cause I can’t do that in console just wondering
It's a mod that's only on PC
@@SimFarmer can you link it?
@@SimFarmer thanks mate
Why there are some patches that don't get fertilized?
Because that area already has full fertilization either frm the area not being harvested so fertilizer not used or where the grass was plowed in that added fertilizer to the ground so didn't need anymore
Is this elmcreek ep 10? Or naw?
Yeah, bit of a typo
How does be do the birds eye camera?
It's done on a multiplayer game on player for recording with the fixed camera while I do the work with the second player
What does a subsoiler do because on console its just cultivator which is useless because it works at a slow speed and it small
I'm using the allow create fields mod which is available on PC
@@SimFarmer thanks sim. I so need to get a pc, you guys have so much better mods than we do lol
how did he do Ariel shot?

@@SimFarmer Great content.
Am I missing something? I’ve watched every video in this series and I missed the corn harvest
Video #9 is not in the playlist, you can just find it in the uploads section of his channel!
@@xChann thank you, I was confused!
