I doubt the prices will catch up because as Garland home prices go up, the home prices in surrounding areas will continue to as well. As someone who lives in Garland and works as a Realtor here, it is great to see how much the city is putting into the area though. It is definitely a great time to buy here!

Good info Mike. We moved to a gated community in Garland from Sachse about 3 years ago. Garland has a different feel depending on where you are located, which IMO, adds to its charm. Great location as it's easy to get anywhere on the east and north side of the metroplex.

Garland Is A Great Place To Live And It's Always Growing Towns Like Murphy, Wylie, And Sachse
Have Seen A Lot Of Growth I've Lived In Garland
For 48 Years And I Love It Wish I Had Lived Here
Back When In My Teenage Years Great Place To

It used to be a good place to live years ago but not so much anymore, like Plano and Richardson. Anyplace else close to Dallas
