I just moved to north mckinney, so far I dont see any suppermarket or any bussiness near by. If I want anything I have to go down to 380 or lower mickinney. Wondering if there will be more bussinesses coming to north mckinney? not like they have many land left for the bussinesses. If so north mckinney sucks

this is more vacationing in pc vs actually living

I'm okay with the small city "feel" and the "lack" of community isn't necessarily so as long as you get to know a lot of the locals as they are very friendly. Great Video!

We have lived in PC for a year now. One other con that hopefully will change soon. If you are traveling anywhere via airline, there are very few direct flights. Chances are you will have at least one connecting flight to get to your destination. We absolutely love PC and the surrounding areas.

I love this area but way too overpopulated in the summer and spring, a lot of disrespectful young people, that dont know how to act. Locals get so over it here, its like everyone calls eachother, and meets in the same location then complain about how busy it is, i get the feeling they think PCB is the only place to have a few drinks and go to the beach.

My daughter graduated from UNT almost two years ago. Her major was merchandising. She is looking for work. What other fields can she apply for?

denison is the divorce capitol of the us, is a major point for the illegal meth trade between texas and oklahoma (also weed coming from oklahoma), also really really hates people from out of state especially when they conflate it with being part of the dallas metroplex (which is two hours away). infact they hate them so much that the local klan chapter (yes it exists) has been harassing and sabatoging the cars and homes of people with out of state plates. stop moving here, the locals dont want you.

It's sad all rural life is disappearing in Texas. Can't go anywhere to get away from people. Be another two decade long construction site. Gonna look like HW380 with 380 traffic.

Denton, Tx is the second most liberal city in Texas behind Austin. I wouldn't live there even if my rent was free.

Traffic has become a nightmare! And so is trying to get across the bridge!

I moved OUT of Denton last summer in July 2023 because of the high homeless, drug and crime problems!!! I would NOT let my kids go to college in Denton or live there. The only thing the police do there are pull over and arrest for DUI. If they would patrol the neighborhoods more maybe the high crime including car theft, burglary, rape, violence and murder would go down!! Steer clear! I am now in one of the safest suburbs in Texas that will stay safe because they only allow a very small percentage of section 8, don’t have a dart train stop and don’t allow loitering or panhandling-cops will arrest for that!

Very interesting to hear someone’s view from out of state. I live here. The beaches are so beautiful !! No exaggeration ! BUT….. if visiting PLEASE PLEASE be aware of the flag system for gulf water safety!!! We want your vacation to be fun,…not a tragedy. Be safe!

The Collin county dump is located just outside Melissa, the smell is beyond terrible. There is also a pig or chicken farm behind the dump that you simply can’t drive by. Looking for a house, avoid anything on the east side of town.

Mesquite aint the town I grew up in. You want to listen to load music, load cars, fireworks and gunshots. This is the town for you. Ghetto and little mexico.

I'VE LIVED IN HILO FOR THE BETTER PART OF 2 DECADES. I RIDE OR DRIVE TO KONA ABOUT ONCE EVERY FEW MONTHS. HILO...... IF YOURE EVER IN HILO ON KEAWE AND WAIANUENUE AVE, I HAVE 2 LARGE MURALS ON THE CORNER I PAINTED FOR FREE, YEARS AGO. THEY ARE STILL GOING STRONG!

Pros: Cost of Housing is almost same as Maui; Cons: Cost of living more expensive than Oahu.

One of the most racist places in the metroplex! Do not go there if you are of the melanated persuasion…
