Very nice. Kinda splits the baby between sport and dress. Seiko showing off their amazing dials. Love the Ti chassis for weight savings and amazing case polishing for Ti as mentioned. Love the power reserve which comes in handy for a watch rotator. Cons for me at least, not a big 6R movement fan because of the variation in time keeping accuracy. A lottery based upon personal experience. Cool piece tho and thx Rob.
In a word Beautiful that very much sums it up and No wait list Just saying I pretty much took Rolex of watches I want in my collection at least thier steel offerings Anyways Thanks for sharing my friend 👍
I almost bought that instead of the sharp edge gmt because of the size but didn't want to drop the extra $$ and the dials take a bit of getting used to but seeing it on you video is way nicer than the pics thank you for nothing Seiko marketing Dept.
That date sub dial is an eye sore. A simple but nicely framed date window would have been perfect. Power reserve is not necessary either. It ruins the dial symmetry imo.
Did you say fourteen-point-nine??? What were they thinking making a dressy watch so thick? This is the sad thing about Seiko...they never improve on making their movements thinner. A beautiful watch ruined by such girth. But anyway, thank you for sharing. I always love your reviews. Have a great weekend 🙋🏻♂️
Looks good ,only problem i had as the old one is date dial, just too small to be read &functional .wish they have a window date instead ,to make a cleaner look with the textured dial .
I don't like watches with too much complications, let alone power reserve markers. But this one... Leaves me speachless. Those waves make everything connected, it's beyond pretty.
Rob, thanks for another great review. At 6:03 when you align the all hands it looks to me that they don't sync and they are mis-aligned. If that's true (and not just a camera angle thing) then that's another quality control disappointment (and frankly something I've come to expect from Seiko nowadays). And I can't go for the pointer date thing on a sub register. If you're going to have a pointer date, it needs to be around the circumference of the dial. Otherwise it just clutters the dial and is just too hard to read. 😕
Can be had at much lower than $1700 prices. Gnomon for example offers this watch at around $1200.
The category of that watch is beautiful.
This is a beautiful Seiko.

That is sick, for me, not $1500 sick, but I like it
Seiko at their best
You can get it on a bracelet from Gnomon watches for an extra $200. Total price with leather is $1280. With bracelet: $1480
I'm in love... 😍 I just found my grail-watch.
I've had my eye on those for some time, but they've previously been a JDM model. Nice to see them stateside, I'll have to give it a look! 👁 🧐

Gnomon has the bracelet
The biggest issue is the strap is the wrong way round, some people don’t mind it but not for me.
You can turn it around, can't you?
I sure hope it has a sapphire crystal. I would expect them to give it a Hardlex.
Seiko has the most interesting lineup in all the watch world.
You got to have over 2000 watches in your collection and counting!!!👍👍👍

Seiko renders and promoshots do a diservice to their watches, most if not all are way prettier from youtuber videos or user shots.

Sorry, but the way you use your GMT is hilarious.
- Good...., hang on let me look at my watch, yes, good morning... phew
I’m smitten with this. Gorgeous dial.
The preseage sharp edge has the same movement, I dig the jump hour.
Seiko! 👍

no lume??
If it was bigger, and a pilot watch, or maybe an explorer/turtle.
Man I wish Seiko used this movement in the propex series. Imagine this in a 62MAS case. This watch as an excellent dial.
Doea it have a screw down crown and what is the water resistant depth rating. Please advise and thanks for the review.
Classy & Elegant, Seiko. Great video! 👍
Awesome review tx for it
Got dizzy with all the handling and glare. Not a great watch for a great watch.
You think I should video it on a stand? I do my best to hold it at angles to show the entire watch.
WOW, the zoom in.
The dial is way to busy to be a dress watch imo.
Thanks for the video. Can you try to avoid showing us the watches under reflections of windows or light bulbs, thank's again.
Yes I can try my best. I record in a dark studio and rely on the lights. Some watches do better then others for video and pictures.
Not a want, but a NEED!
