Pathetic watch snobbery here. Another Rolex/swiss fanboy. Take seiko or grand seiko over any of these Swiss ripoffs. In house movements, Japanese presicion equall to German/swiss at a fraction of the price. No brainer
Yes seems like it. I bout a Rolex Explorer II last year , because I felt I had to have one. Guess what, sold it 6 weeks later. I don't know about kudos as is mentioned in this video as I never felt it. Still we all have our favorites. I have a Breitling SO and love all of the Seiko's I have purchased amongst other watch brands.
Just picked this watch up the other day. I do really like this new Seiko GMT. I have Rolex, Tudor, Omega and Grand Seiko and really enjoy wearing this watch.
What did you like about this watch over the other watches that you have? I own a grand seiko quartz and a seiko turtle, I want to continue collecting more expensive watches. I’d love to hear more about your experience please.
@@larry.l I'm just a huge Seiko fan. The blue bezel on this GMT looks great as well as the alternating blie and white chapter ring. The angular and sharp case design and bracelet is also very well done. I also enjoy a crisp white dial in my collection. Finally, it's a true GMT at a very reasonable price. You don't see Seiko make too may of these GMTs and the white is a limited edition. Unique watch for sure.
I Purchased this yesterday but debating returning it. I dislike bracelets so wanted to put a blue leather strap on it BUT that integrated end link is a no-go. Didn't notice it when I purchased it.
You’re becoming more and more a Rolex fanboy😂. Of course there are better watches than the Seiko if you pay so much more! My question for you is why did you buy it when you know that already? Anyway it’s interesting listening to you deconstructing your addiction! I must say that I really love the Tudor GMT and hope to get one soonish. Maybe though it’s because it would be the best that I could afford😜 Great content as always Uptick.
Tudor bb 41 is case heavy. Buy a rubber b strap to solve it. I have the 43 bb bronze on with the rubber b strap. I also have the Tudor Harrods and planning to buy another rubber b strap for it
You nailed the comments about the Snowflake versus a discreet printed power reserve. I have an SGBA465 with printed power reserve, and it is fun indeed. Nice long term review. Enjoyed that, merci beaucoup.
I own the sarb033 and Tudor Chrono Sg. I recommend you sell the Tudor if you don’t enjoy it. I think one Tudor is enough for me unless the release something killer.
Thats a great looking watch…Presage is a little too polished for me . I’m just too hard on watches I guess. That would be covered in scratches after 1 day if I wore that.
Great looking watches, but as you quite correctly pointed out, the date subdial is annoying. In fact it is just plain WEIRD and annoying. The 30 being just next to the 1 looks utterly DUMB. Once you notice it, you certainly can't unsee it, and the unsightly ugly subdial draws your eyes to it. A real miss from Seiko (it would have been far better to leave it off altogether), as the rest of the dial looks amazing.
Wow, very special edition celebrating the season of midnight sun in Iwate prefecture. Either that, or they sold you a dud: The chapter ring should be silver for the lower half circle, daylight, and all that, and dark blue on the top, for night. At least that’s the colour scheme on my SBGE255 Grand Seiko GMT…

I would have purchased this in black or brown yesterday but no ceramic bezel at over $1,400 USD is a maybe later 🤔
