I live in Dublin, and so I am delighted that you enjoyed your time here. For a short weekend trip you really made the right choices re. sights and eating/drinking. Glad you had a great time in the Temple Bar - which, by the way, is probably more frequented by tourists than by Dubliners. If you come back another time, try out some of the *really* old, traditional pubs. Palace Bar, McDaid‘s, Brazen Head (oldest pub in Dublin), Keogh‘s, Toner‘s, Doheny & Nesbitt. O‘Donoghue‘s in Merrion Row has proper Irish folk every night.
American here. Really want to travel to the UK and Ireland. We jsut got back from 9 days in WDW. We went to Raglan Road in Disney Springs in the evening and saw the live music and Irish dancing. Loved it!!
This vlog my soul siiinnngg Catherine! I'm American, Irish by descent, and this adventure is a dream of mine! Thank you for all the facts and bringing us along! Im glad you got there and back safely! ❤❤❤
Would LOVE to see how you plan these little trips! As an American, it seems like so much effort to try to figure out where to stay or what to do when we arrive. I would absolutely love to see your thought process and planning.. and how you decide on your wardrobe. Your clothes and accessories are always just so cute and put together.
Honestly trust the Northerners to do the best tour of Dublin City Centre I’ve ever seen. You saw so much in 2 days. That felt like the Dublin Dubliners see when they go into the city. Glad you had such a good time.
Catherine this was so well done. Loved it all especially the architecture and the food. The first Guinness and onion soup and Guinness bread. Oh Lord. Thank you sweetie ❤
Hi Catherine, so glad you enjoyed yourself in our beautiful capital city, I'm in Wicklow and don't feel bad about not liking Guinness, I've never liked it, lol.
Hehehe it was amazing we loooooved Dublin 🥹🥹🎀🌷 hehehe that makes me feel a little better I wish I did like it the texture is so nice haha but the aftertaste I just can’t handle 🤣🥲🙃
Oh I LOOOVED this vlog so much!! I was lucky enough to visit Ireland about 20 years ago and want to come back for another visit so badly!! I love it when you take us along on your adventures, makes me feel like I'm there seeing the sights with you while I save up for my own travels here at home!!
Oh my goodness, I am so happy you liked it hehe, it was such a fun experience we loved it heheh Im happy you feel like your coming along with me, thats exactly how I want it to feel so this makes me very happy hehe
A pub crawl certainly looks like the thing to do! How fun! I’d have to do a pub foods crawl though since I can’t drink alcohol. So beautiful and festive everywhere! I love the cobblestone roads and I’d never pass up on a browse through a bookshop! Oooh..and that library…wow!
Temple Bar put their prices up every hour to fleece tourists 😅 but it is a beautiful building. You should come to Belfast some day if you haven't already ❤ I'd really recommend the Titanic museum!
Visiting dublin in April and watching this made me wish I was the type of person that liked alcohol in any capacity or the type to let loose and party 😭
Ahh I had no idea you were in Dublin! I live here and am surprised I didn’t see you out and about 😂 Also really appreciate the added Irish translation at the start!
Temple bar is designed for tourists so Irish locals don’t really go there! It’s also a lot more expensive than anywhere else in Dublin 😂 But also, we can understand it’s enjoyable for a tourists night out with all the music!
@@JessieRainbowEyesoh I can totally see why locals don’t go here it was RAMMED 😂😂😂 and very expensive but perfect for our night haha 😂❤ it was the perfect tourist trap haha 😂 and we loved it!
I love your blogs, but I wasn’t back to your later ones and realised how much better they were because you used to vocally explain things (dub?). The new ones we have to read which means we miss the visual or have to pause each time to read it. Please consider going back to taking instead of typing as it’s so much better. Thankyou for your excellent content. Also I’m a huge Baylee Jae fan who lives in Canada and what an opportunity for you guys to collaborate on your trip there
Oh no thank you for your feedback! that might be a good idea, I personally watch a load of videos that are more calming because they don't have voiceovers, and are more relaxing to watch on the evening, but you might be right, I will experiment, I hope you still enjoy them!
Thankyou for replying, I know how busy you are! I am Australian and find your voice very calming. Congrats too on your health progress and your creative genius.
@@catherinekayy I've never leave, just been away for holiday and back now to catch up on your videos. It is encouraging to see the transformation and I can only imagine the good that happened for your health. Bravo!

Did you ever go to Raglan Road at Disney Springs? :)
Irish folk music is the best! This is my idea of the perfect night out, dancing to live music

The library was beautiful honestly amazing! And so cool to see a 9th century Celtic bible! The book of Kells! Although we couldn’t film in that room!

While you are in a great pub with real rebel memorabilia the tourists are just outside rubbing the breast of a fictional character's statue
