Nice little With or Without You jam - I'm a big U2 fan, so that was very nice at the end 😊 Push 3 is amazing - I'm using standalone as I don't use many 3rd party plugins. I do think sometimes it can get a little cumbersome, but overall, its just so creative to jam on it and get away from the computer screen. Then its so great to have everything ready and recorded in session view ready to arrange on computer. Probably my favourite piece of gear right now!
I opted for the Push 3 Standalone version. The portability and getting free from the pc/laptop is a big plus to me. Even better now with the release of Live 12 for the Push 3 Standalone with Meld and Roar. I can make some quick sketches and later I copy them to Live 12 on my PC, really nice.
Well also tried the standalone, but due some reasons got this one see the other video. 4 reasons why I won't buy the Ableton Push 3 Standalone version ruclips.net/video/EcbMulQVvk4/видео.html
You said that you are using a pedal to start recording, very(Ferry...) handy. But at the end of the video you record your bass, you used your finger to start recording. Why?
great overview! Thanks for making this video. I'm curious about using third-party plugins with the controller version of Push -- did you manually map the encoders/knobs to control that Waves compressor at 26:12? Or does Push automatically assign encoders to the different parameters of any third-party plugin when you open one?
When you played that choir, I nearly cried. Thankyou. So inspired.
Mine should be here tomorrow, upgrading from push 2
@@BOMBPHONICS great to hear, have lots of fun and musical inspiration with it!

@@NotThatCoolKidThat's no problem at all....I really like your video.
Wensen?
does the push 3 audio interface on par with other audio interface such as Audient, what about the DAC for headphone sound quality?
Well cant compare with Audient, because never used them… but have not found any problems yet, beside no xlr/phantom power.
What headphones are you wearing, they look really comfortable
They are! Check my review also! They are by repeat.audio and ar also fixable! Use code ferry10 for a 10% discount!
You could already do fixed length on push 2 with ableton 11…
Thnx, did not know that.
