I went for the standalone version and I am glad that I did. It's the center of my studio, and I don't need a computer running. And it is perfect for the way that I work, doing the track creation stage with the Push 3 and other instruments in the studio, and then later I send it to the computer for a mixing and mastering session.

@@NotThatCoolKid Certainly. I know people for who the controller version is perfect for them. It's nice that we have options.

Gosh it’s a no brainer. Still rocking with the push 2 and yes I probably need to upgrade but I wouldn’t go any further than the controller mode. Without vst support - you c could basically buy a MacBook Air or almost a pro aswell as a controller. Better value and must better cpu. I could just imagine the battery is good but will degrade in time so it’ll end up being a controller long term. The lack of an xlr is crazy aswell as secondary headphones. I could even get a native instruments mk3 plus a push 3 and still be miles ahead

Nice video! But I think you might have misspelled the title? Buy instead of but? Just so you know 😊

You must be a bodybuilder. The number one reason is that it is not a standalone machine. It's way too heavy for that.

Well i wouldnt run a marathon with it, bit coming from carrying tube amps and Rhodes pianos it aint that heavy!

A built in audio-interface with one 1 in and 1 out would be the dream on a device like this.
