I'm interested in repairing and selling used appliances, specifically W&Ds, but am VERY concerned about the liability involved. I am worried about the possibility of a unit catching fire after the sale and/or install. Do you carry liability insurance? Any suggestions? I know appliances, specifically dryers, are huge causes of house fires.
I'm way out of City Limits so there's not a lot of rules I have to go by. I have run it into a tank and Pump it through a water hose into the drain of my house. It's just clean water I'm not using soap to test them with obviously. Yes I had just one plug in my old shop but my new shop I have 2 Dedicated dryer plugs on heavy duty thick gauge extension cords. honestly it's only handy every once in awhile you can definitely run with just one plug.
They are both harbor freight. The newer looking one I bought last year the older Looking one is about 4 years old. They did change the design a little but I like the newer HF design.
Well I hope that you carry business insurance because yeah and people do not know how to clean out the dryer vent I swear to God you could hand somebody explicit instructions with dates and times on it and they would either lose it throw it away or just totally ignore it
This is so cool. The best asset I can see to start is think for the worst case in the near future possible event of rolling brown outs or even blackouts. is investing to accomodate those conditions so that buisness as usual doesnt have to stop because of broken communic ations and loss of power.
I enjoy watching your videos, I subscribed to your channed. I'm thinking about starting a business fixing, and flipping washers, and dryers. How much would I need to invest? I have a pick up truck, and trailer. I don't have a house for the moment, what would you recommend I used for space to work on the appliances, and sell them with no money to start? Please feel free to offer any advice you think would help me getting started.... Again thank you for all the information you are sharing on your RUclips channels
Siizr McCoy Depending on your area will depend on how much you can sell them for. Some places you can sell a Dryer a few years old for 200 where other areas you would not be able to sell that dryer and less it was priced at 150. Assuming you have some of the basic tools away to pick up washers and dryers and an area to test them and you won’t need much money to start this business. Are usually buy Broken dryer’s for $15 and Broken washers for $20 from scrappers. If I’m buying them off Facebook I will pay about twice that but I will be able to pick out the ones I really want. Parts are fairly cheap depending on what’s wrong with the machine. Anywhere from $5 to $40 If it cost more than $40 I usually just part it out and sell some parts on eBay or just put them on a shelf for the next time I need it.
Yeah you'll you'll get to use all your skills there people will rent your house they will destroy it for you and then move out in the middle of the night owing you 6 months rent if they don't move out then you'll have to go to court in a victim and then if they know where you live they'll come by your house and vandalize your house make your life absolutely miserable hi you think you working hard now when you get a few rental properties and then if you pay a property management company to manage them for you they'll take all your money and the people will still owe you money you'll still have to a victim they'll still destroy your property and move out in the middle of the night laugh out loud it's a lose-lose the only thing that's great about it is if you make it through it if you live long enough you'll actually own the properties and you can sell them and get your Equity back unless they're completely destroyed and in that case good luck

Power question? Do you have one main outlet with different adapter or seperate outlets specific to the unit?
Good morning.
My dryer keeps blowing the fuse after 5 minutes of working. What is wrong with it⁉️
Great videos. Do you drain your washers out in the yard? Did you have to install 220V for the dryers?

Looks like you have different brands of the canopy portable garages for storage. Which brand hold up best? HF? The ones on Amazon?

Can you use a stove cord on a dryer?
No they have a different plug pattern. It won’t fit in a dryer socket.
