@@carlinhoo0878it's slow but it's efficient. I had the oneplus 7t pro before I switched to samsung, and while I miss it's fast charging, the battery really suffered. I think i probably got 4 hrs of SOT on that phone, and not even a full days worth of battery
I have been using the iPhone 16 Pro Max for the last few weeks now, and I can vouch that the SOT that you get on this phone is unlike I have ever got on any phone. I was using the 13 Pro previously and there is a huge difference for me. It's just insane. And the bezels are also so thin, almost like you can't notice them. Definitely loving it so far!
The only thing I would say is that unlike other cell phones the Galaxy s25 Ultra as all other Galaxy phones optimizes to your actual usage so in reality it will perform even better than what it did there. Unlike the iPhone and the others on the table
At this point, it's all about optimization. Apple proved it with having the smallest battery, yet lasting the longest. I never used the vivo or honor phones, but I know both Apple and Samsung auto optimize themselves after usage for a period of time. So they both can last longer after awhile. Idk if Vivo or Honors phones can do that, if so, all of these phones will be amazing to have. At this point, 8 hrs screen on time is fine because by the time you need to charge your phone, it'll be towards the end of the day.
Huge credit to Apple and Samsung for their optimization. I think Vivo and Honor could have done way better and outperformed them by big margin if their software department were more advanced and efficient like IOS and ONEUI. VivoX200Pro has given great hardware but now they should work in the software department. Although, we see a different winner in some different comparisons. 😊
i told it many times to many people the "mAh" on batteries are not everything, people fall for the most basic marketing bait thinking 6000 or 7000 mAh will be better than 5000mAh. they should look at what battery is inside, 6000+ is most likely dual cell batteries, OnePlus, Vivo have dual-cell batteries which drain faster compared to a single cell, it does allow them to charge more cooler since the 100w etc gets splits into 50/50w & technically can have more charge cycles. but its not 100% efficient since both cells need to be balanced out. so both have pros & cons
Which is not that bad, it almost lasted as long as the other phones that need way bigger batteries to compete. Turns out, bad optimization ruins everything.
@@abmessi It's not an excuse, it's an explanation. But those like you that just want to see the world burn simply can't accept the fact that the Samsung phone with the smallest battery almost lasted as long as the other Android phones, without even the first update after release, nor the week or so to fully adapt the battery.

@@abmessi I exclude iPhones because they are not comparable to Android. The S25 Ultra has the smallest battery out of these Android phones and yet nearly lasted as long as those did. There's a reason why I only compared to the other Android phones in my previous comment. iPhones have the best optimization, best efficiency, because everything is tailored for Apple and because they pay to get the best nodes for their chips. Android has to run on hundreds of different phones, it will never be as optimized as iOS
@@AvnerTouitou-y2j You don't need to tell anyone.. here in the video is clearly showed the Vivo how much it lasted compared to S25, it is just 17 more mins only having a larger battery with 1000 mAh more. It's not trashing anyone here.. the opposite, I had better expectations..
I'm so glad that my iPhone 16 Pro Max battery is so lasting! I use it for work and it can last me for the whole day! I don't even need to charge my battery in my van at all unlike my previous iPhone 15 Pro Max! 🥰
no it lasted almost as long as honor so even due to its higher capacity battery and that people say is better not really that much better imagine if samsung make 6000 mAh battery it would beat all these phones here likely
Idk if apple batteries are the same way, but the Samsung battery isn't truly 5000mah. It's actual capacity is like 4855mah or something. So actually quite a bit closer to the iPhone than most people think.
Samsung said this is not pre-release software. The software has been optimised for a while, so that is why they lifted the embargo. This will be the consumer version. Maybe OneUI 7 will improve efficiency with time, but I never experienced that with OneUI 6, it generally got worse.
@rotrose9279 xiaomi 14 ultra has the best camera overall for me. But a phone is a package, and in terms of O.S. with one u.i 7, optimisation, ecosystem with the ear buds tablets and watch, features, integration with android and google apps and so on, samsung sits at the top. 10:58 of screen on time is great, it has a good customizable camera, galaxy ai that is actually useful and more. Again on android samsung is best. Google could be first it had a really powerful chip and better screens but as of now samsung is android king. I do not like the O.S. of the xiaomi, vivo, one plus or huawei

I still have my Vivo X100 as a secondary device, and back when it was my primary, I had to charge it at least twice a day with no charge limits. The difference is just crazy!
Iphones battery typically wear out very fast, after few months of usage
@ source?
@rxshivamgamer8135 they use cheaper batteries from 13-15 i dont know if they have found out about the 16 yet because it hasn't been out long enough, but i had a 14pm it lasted a long time for first few months and then it just started dying very fast even when it said 100% battery health, nothing changed that would've made the battery tank like that idk why it was like that
@@nttinvis Weird. Although battery health degradation is normal over time in lithium-ion batteries after several months of heavy usage, and it varies from user to user depending on how hard they use it, your statement seems concerning. I've had the s24 ultra sense launch last year. It had great battery life out of the box but then, as always, the updates start rolling in and the battery takes a hit. I use my phone medium use each day and I'm still required to put this thing on a charger by 6:00 p.m. after removing it from the charger at 8:00 a.m. I've had the S3, Note 3, note 4, note 5, s8, s9 plus, Note 8, note 9, note 10, note 20, s22u, s23u and now s24u And the one thing in common is that I always need to put my phone on the charger by 5:00 or 6:00 p.m. in order to make it through the rest of the evening. Nothing has changed. The same will go for the s25 Ultra.
You are right, I noticed battery life was way better before August, then the newer updates killed it
Agreed, similar story with my S24 ultra however it's still much better than my S22 ultra.
@@mytechwithzain5569 I meant to leave the s22 Ultra out of the equation. That phone was the worst with battery life by far.
@mytechwithzain5569 the S22 U was my biggest regret. Samsung has no business making mobile SOCs🤣
@@daliso8o8 mine had a Snapdragon Gen 1 yet had a really bad battery life and the SOT would never cross 4-5 hours. But I know the ones with Exynos were even worse.
Congratulations! just earned a subscriber by being the first one to actually do what needs to be done on the testing of these phones because the battery is literally what batteries most 90% of people. Everything else is just icing on the cake, but how long the battery last is literally the whole cake.

If the Honor Magic 7 pro was the global version with the 5820 MAH would have won easily.
I really hate the video recording test in the end until they die, it kills the entire battery test. Remove it from the test or just use it for a specific amount of time.
😅😅
You’re right, really most average users are not going to record so long and in that resolution, removing that test will be crazy in battery life.
Why do you dislike that? I assume it is because your choice does not do well. It is a legit round for testing.
@@andyH_EnglandI'd prefer something like an app cycle test. Who's going to record 4k video with 1% battery lol

Watching on 16 pro max it’s a Beast that can’t beat ❤
Huge credit to Apple and Samsung for their optimization. I think Vivo and Honor could have done way better and outperformed them by big margin if their software department were more advanced and efficient like IOS and ONEUI. VivoX200Pro has given great hardware but now they should work in the software department. Although, we see a different winner in some different comparisons. 😊
Hay que tomar en cuenta que el 25U realmente no tiene 5000 mAh, sino 4800 mAq aproximadamente
so the mAh dont matter in a phones battery?
6000 mah on x200 pro👎 makes no sense here just only 15 minutes extra s25U 5000mah,it shows optimization of software and hardware
i told it many times to many people the "mAh" on batteries are not everything, people fall for the most basic marketing bait thinking 6000 or 7000 mAh will be better than 5000mAh. they should look at what battery is inside, 6000+ is most likely dual cell batteries, OnePlus, Vivo have dual-cell batteries which drain faster compared to a single cell, it does allow them to charge more cooler since the 100w etc gets splits into 50/50w & technically can have more charge cycles. but its not 100% efficient since both cells need to be balanced out. so both have pros & cons
Why not include the S24U??
Instead of putting that much on S25 ultra. I'd reccomsand an iphone with whole ecosystem(Airpods, Ipad). Which will cost nearly same.
Damn maybe size doesn't matter after all.
3:03 of course the samsung died first 💀💀
Which is not that bad, it almost lasted as long as the other phones that need way bigger batteries to compete. Turns out, bad optimization ruins everything.
