Many people complain about Samsung sticking with the same 5000 mAh battery while Chinese brands introduce 6000 mAh batteries and new manufacturing components. However, it has been proven that these are just marketing tactics and big numbers to attract the naive. The Vivo 200 Pro, with a difference of 1000 mAh, only outperformed the S25U by 17 minutes.

It's just 17min difference from Vivo's. Kinda glad I didn't fall for the hype around the x200 pro since I don't like their OS.
Apple surprised me too, I know their phones are hella optimised but I also expected it to compete well since they automatically lower the refresh rate of the phone as it drains to lower percentage. Didn't think it would be the last to survive.

Batteries only degrade quickly when under a lot of heat for too long this is not an APPLE thing every phone in existence suffers this. All you are doing is show that all you watch for is iPhones and how whoever you watch is doing.
A battery’s degradation is all down to the user and how they store their phone in different settings.
What you said is also a lie I see Samsungs battery health drop faster than iOS devices in real world because nowadays since the 11pro max it’s been the reverse for chargers I see many more android phones on a charger you know how this is even backed up even more the need to push for faster charging with android devices. One would only need above 30w charging on a phone if their phone is dying a lot
I limit my phone to 80 for example and still get over 8 hours of SoT one charge and end the day with over 25%. While my dad ain’t getting 8 hours on S24u not on his best day hence needing insane charge speeds which also help decrease the capacity because faster charging results in more heat not the charging specifically does it but the heat from it helps make it degrade even faster.
So why lie man just use your galaxy if you gonna use it and keep it pushing why lie for a device out of what it seems immaturity. Are you one of those dudes that thinks highly of himself because he chose a phone differently?

I expected the S25U to win as it has a 7% larger battery, a new, improved display tech, according to Samsung and uses the same 3nm TSMC architecture as the A18 Pro. So, it was a surprise that it fell short by over 30 minutes, though another test also had a similar result.
I noticed with Apple that historically, they leave battery efficiency to later in iOS updates, so around December, they tend to gain on competitors compared to on release. We saw that with the Vivo that beat the iPhone on release but is now behind.

I never used the vivo or honor phones, but I know both Apple and Samsung auto optimize themselves after usage for a period of time. So they both can last longer after awhile. Idk if Vivo or Honors phones can do that, if so, all of these phones will be amazing to have.

i told it many times to many people the "mAh" on batteries are not everything, people fall for the most basic marketing bait thinking 6000 or 7000 mAh will be better than 5000mAh. they should look at what battery is inside, 6000+ is most likely dual cell batteries, OnePlus, Vivo have dual-cell batteries which drain faster compared to a single cell, it does allow them to charge more cooler since the 100w etc gets splits into 50/50w & technically can have more charge cycles. but its not 100% efficient since both cells need to be balanced out. so both have pros & cons

@@Pawcio2115it's a Samsung not an iPhone. No amount of optimisation will lead to a better battery life for the Samsung. They should have went for a bigger battery like other android manufacturers.

@@theehumptydumpty so you are saying 5% battery life improvement is not possible? It sounds ridiculous. Ofc they should've put a bigger battery but the battery life is not bad

@@Pawcio2115 I’ve had Samsungs in the past and optimization isn’t necessarily their fault. Developers have to compensate for the vast number of different android os and skins by different manufacturers so it’s not always going to be as polished as apple unless there is one supreme android manufacturer and no other ones out there for them to focus on

It's not 2025 flagship battery though. Maybe 2023.
No, optimisation will not add an extra 5% lol. Maybe they could if they throttle the chip so that it performs as a SD 8 Gen 3.

Apple is nutorious, for dimming the display to conserve battery, while the other phones will shine very bright.

S25 Ultra first drains faster due to it learning how you use it. Once done, it optimizes to give you the best performance. That is seen within a week after purchase.

30 hours of 4K video recording. That is equivalent to 1.5 hours of normal usage which is massive😊

Have the screen brightness levels (nits) of the phones been equalized, or were they compared with different brightness levels?

20 mins difference for 20% larger battery is not impressive and props to the s25u it does have a faster elite for galaxy then the honor so there's that, but Samsung do need to do more.

I think that, if you do such comparison tests, you should update the smartphones, adjust the resolution to identical specs as closely as possible and, most importantly, use a carrier, the same carrier for all of course.

Great review! I knew subscribing to your channel was a smart decision. One thing to note is that Apple did an excellent job with the iPhone-better than the competition. However, Samsung will take the lead after its first software update. That's just how it goes! Keep up the great work, my friend. I would also like to see you rerun the battery test after Samsung releases its new software update. I just feel that the iPhone can't easily outpace Samsung, no matter what software optimizations they have in place!

S25 Ultra going strong with 5000 mAh battery. Honor with additional 270 mAh, last 10 mins longer, then Vivo with additional 1000 mAh only last 17 mins longer. So, with that 1000 mAh extra battery, it's not that much of a difference.
