Tchaikovsky - October, Autumn Song (from The Seasons, Op. 37a) - Cyprien Katsaris Piano

This is a live recording from November 18, 1970 by Cyprien Katsaris. This piece was published in 1876. It is marked "Andante doloroso e molto cantabile" which indicates moderately slow, sorrowful and very song-like. I feel the 19-year-old Katsaris does very well performing it that way in this mono recording.

on a CD, played at a slightly faster pace.
