Same story here. I'm still using the Tab S2, 8 inch. Still working well after 5 years, unfortunately some apps are no longer supported (I can't even update Chrome!) and it's running on a very old version of Android. And yes, battery life isn't as good as it once was. I guess the closest newer alternative would be the Samsung A7 Lite (64 GB option). It's not a flagship, but you'll have the newest Android and it's still way faster than the good old Tab S2. For now I'll see how long my Tab S2 will last!

@@Vesper132 I did, a lenovo M8 fhd (I do NOT recommend it! Read on.). I've also bought an anti-glare screen protector and a flip case - removed the cover part, 3D printed a paper clip holder and glued it all together onto an A6 piccolo kneeboard resulting in a digital kneeboard where I can still mount paper checklists and notes on. I use pens which both work as a rubber-tip stylus and can be used as normal pen for paper (you can find those on amazon). So why I do not recommend the M8, besides still having microUSB? The touch screen has awful sensitivity issues with styluses for some reason. It works ok with finger, but each and every passive stylus I tried would require ridiculous pressure and would still miss parts of the writing. So I now take notes with the finger... Works ok for a few letters, but I would not want to write down an sVFR clearance this way.
@@Maverickx89 wow, you really went for it with this digital kneeboard, sound great! I was thinking of something simpler just to hold it on the other leg but your idea is very interesting. As to the tablet, I most likely will wait some more time with hope that Samsung will release his 8 inches tablet with S-Pen here in Poland. That should gave best experience with writing, because I'm afraid that most tablets that aren't supported with some kind of pen will perform as yours M8. One thing though that makes me a bit skeptical towards this really low budget tablets is from performance point of view. Besides charts I would like to run most likely Garmin Pilot or at least Airmate and I am afraid about lagging, smoothness and performance when using such apps. Do you use something to navigate on your Lenovo? How it perform?
Excellent work. Sir, please let me know which 8 inch tablets can be used as writing pads, I know that the i pad , the Samsung s6, the Huawei m5 lite are few of them,Sir does the Lenovo is a writing pad similarly the Acer is a writing pad, the Xiaomi redmi is a writing pad and so on . Thank you so much in advance. Wish you a very great day ahead.
Xiaomi mipad 4 or Huawei mediapad 5 lite? Wich do you recomend me? Many thanks!!! Pd. Lenovo is at the dame level as Huawei medipad m5 lite and Xiaomi nmipad 4??
If u r talking about the Mediapad 5 Lite 8 inch version, you'll have slightly better performance and may be slightly better battery on the Mi Pad 4. Mediapad 5lite will have better speaker (better stereo separation) and it is the newer device with a newer android version i suppose. Make sure you buy the 4GB RAM variant of either.
@@vivshij1349 yes i am talking always about 8 inch and 4/64 gb versions, . So It is better the mipad 4 ? Lenovo m8 fhd is the chapest, but It is very far from the mipad 4 and mediapad l5 Lite? Thanks a lot for the answer!!!

no mention of the alldocube iPlay 8 Pro which is around £60 and running stock Android 9 or the vankyo S8 matrix pad which is around £79 on Amazon and also hi spec and running stock Android 9.
Hey Andrzej, which 8-inch tablet would you recommend for the following... I mainly want the tablet to read books to me where I can follow the text and take notes and create bookmarks. I don't think Kindel does this or has this option. I'm not an Apple user so doesn't need to be an iPad. I'm based in the US, if that matters. Thank you in advance for your help and suggestion.
Thanks for your input. I also am curious as to which ones are 64 bit considering I have to load a program that will not load unless there is a 64 bit processor. This is making it very difficult since no one seems to reveal this info other than to say "quad core" or "dual quad" or "64 bit using a 32 bit system".
Can any of these be used as a phone? And not using an app - I mean using the same sim card and phone number as my current Pixel phone, and just dial numbers like any normal smartphone would?
Probably the Samsung Galaxy Tab A w/ s pen. It's around 190 dollars and has an Exynos 7885. I have it, and for drawing it's good. But for gaming, you should buy an iPad.
I think it's too old to recommend as a new buy since it won't get updated anymore, people watching this channel generally have no warranty on it, and there are rumors of a new one being released soon.
@PlayStation gamer for this price the mi pad is the best tablet android, but there a few Compromises : no update android 10 , only 480p on streaming platforms.. But it have double performance of lenovo m8 releasead this year😂
But you omit the Info whether any of these tablets have a stereo speakers and the sound quality you mentioned it on the iPad but you didn’t mention it on the android
One questions please Would the fire HD tablet works fine in EU countries other than UK & Germany? or there are differences and limitations Thanks in advance

Which 8" tablet would you recommend that has the best satellite GPS tracking and possibly with Glonass as well?
Yup, I think we're all looking for an 8'' tablet for the same reason hahah
@@_bearcat In flight navigation for GA/microlight I'd guess ;)
@@Maverickx89 I'm in search for the same reasons ;-) , have you bought anything?
Does Samsung tab a 8.0 play Netflix in HD quality??? If not please suggest which 8 inch tablet does except iPad mini ? Thanks
This dude has the coolest accent ever!
The issue with all non-iPads are software updates.
Man I've mi pad 4 it's really really really really perfect 👌
Don't try thinking for a minute to buy mediapad it's a trash
@@mojo197 yeah can watch youtube vids up to 4k 60 and great sd 660 soc
Hi! Is it possible to review Panasonic Tab 8 HD? No one in the entire RUclips has done it so far!
sir or anyone reading. 8 inch tablets are nice and all if thats what you need. i can see the uses for them. personally though i have the samsung tab a7 sm-t500. 10.4 inch. kinda wish i could afford the more expensive tab s7 but im very happy with my product. really the only reason i want the more expensive s7 is to get a 128gb and more ram. and the amoled. though i dont put my personal files, music and photos stuff like that on my tablet storage but instead on the micro sd card. so its mainly for taking photos keeping documents and downloading whatever without running out of space and for holding my app and system data.
Thank you for your quality reviews.
What do you recommend for me to buy Tab 8 screen to watch movies and Netflix?
Hi there, Amazing video. I´m really getting amazon fire. Could you tell me whicj keyboard is that you used on train with Fire? or if you recomend some to use with it?
On trains, I'm usually using the Microsoft universal mobile keyboard or Logitech keys to go
any chance you can get your hands on a Lenovo Y700 8in tablet
I wonder if you could help me please ? I live in the UK and I need a 8" tablet with GPS and LTE, the tablet is needed for drone flying so needs to be as bright as possible, I currently use an samsung s21 ultra phone which is plenty BRIGHT enough, but I prefer a bigger screen, hope you can help, thank you.
no mention of the alldocube iPlay 8 Pro which is around £60 and running stock Android 9 or the vankyo S8 matrix pad which is around £79 on Amazon and also hi spec and running stock Android 9.
My only complain with the Tab A is the poor battery life and constant lag. I only recommend this tab pure for entertainment purpose such as browsing
Sr. I want to switch myself to tablet with sim to used like mobile. I don't want 10inch what tablet you can recommended
Same question!
Thanks for your input. I also am curious as to which ones are 64 bit considering I have to load a program that will not load unless there is a 64 bit processor. This is making it very difficult since no one seems to reveal this info other than to say "quad core" or "dual quad" or "64 bit using a 32 bit system".
Why is nobody mentioning the Alcatel pad or the Techno pad with 7/8inch screen in any of their reviews?
8 inch tablet PC from Turkey Hello, what is your advice thanks
Can any of these be used as a phone? And not using an app - I mean using the same sim card and phone number as my current Pixel phone, and just dial numbers like any normal smartphone would?
great reviews as always! btw, what bluetooth kb do you recommend
Your mother makes a great bt kb.
Your accent is awesome! I could listen to you all day.
What are the best 8" tablets that can be used as phones? (preferbly with a stylus would be a bonus). Thanks :-)
Probably the Samsung Galaxy Tab A w/ s pen. It's around 190 dollars and has an Exynos 7885. I have it, and for drawing it's good. But for gaming, you should buy an iPad.
No mipad 4 ?
discontinued , EOL. mi pad 5 is on its way.
I can't waiting for the mi pad 5 release, was aimed to buy mi pad 4 at first but discontinued :0
No, thats garbage.
@@marvinracer88 how?
May I ask why Mi Pad 4 isn't here?
I think it's too old to recommend as a new buy since it won't get updated anymore, people watching this channel generally have no warranty on it, and there are rumors of a new one being released soon.
@@MyNextTablet Hmm what about the t30 tablet? I just heard about it a few days ago.
Denian its the worst tablet in the world, i used it a couple of months performance is great but after a while it got stuck on the booload screen
One questions please
Would the fire HD tablet works fine in EU countries other than UK & Germany? or there are differences and limitations
Thanks in advance
Thank you for the video! I am looking to buy a tablet for my mother. Would you say the lenovo m8 is better than the VANKYO MatrixPad S10?
You're not Samsung?! 😱😦 7:12
I love your videos and channel! You're the best, even if you're not Samsung.
I'm a big fan of tablets. ☺️
Looking to get either the Samsung Tab A 8.0 or Lenovo M8 HD for my kids. Will it run games like Roblox? Their existing tablets (Amazon Fire HD8) do so I am assuming they wil.
