Love the videos, TX History was one of my favorite classes in school. I agree... at this point choose topics that interest you and chances are we will find them as interesting
I also enjoy Texas history and culture. There are plenty of topics and I'm open to whatever you come up with. Keep it fun and interesting to you. Thank you!
Hello! Figure I'd introduce myself and say hi to all of you! Thank you so much from Tim and I for everyone who as already joined us so far! It means the world to us. Happy to answer any questions you may have about myself, the videos, or the channel! Ask away!
I've really enjoyed your balanced and well-made videos. One story I've always wanted told, which is often lost in the broader tale of the German Hill Country is the much lesser story of the early German communities of Fayette County of the 1840s and 1850s; La Grange, Round Top, Bluff, Freyburg, Black Jack Springs, Biegel etcetera. I did some of that in my book, Fayettte County, but doing it in video format would be fantastic too.
Hi Dylan, are you aware of Shawn at Dustups Ranch outside of El Paseo? He is trying to reforestation desert property through water catchment and soil improvement. Hope you reach out to him.
I would love to see the influence of Czech immigrants in Texas culture and how some of the Mexican and Czech cultures combined to make the Texas we know!
