Any discernable bottlenecks using a 10700k and 4090 at 4k or higher resolution? I don't care to upgrade my cpu if I'm only seeing 2 - 4% increase in FPS.

Good question that I'm glad you asked. Usually I see just that around 2-4 % perf decrease when comparing my FPS to many other YTbers. It's not a big issue for me when playing at 4K and 8K. I will be upgrading to an upcoming 2023 CPU one day. I'm just not in a hurry to do so.

@Project Storm I'm in a similar situation, if I was to upgrade my CPU I need to make a $1000+ investment for a new MOBO, ram, cooler, psu, etc.
2 to 4% is a very minor difference I'd imagine you wouldn't even notice that unless you were looking at the fps counter while gaming. But I agree, in a perfect world having a better CPU would be great. I play at 4k or on occasion bump up the render resolution for more quality. Thanks for your help.
