Good questions. Are you connected to WiFi or ethernet? I mainly play on my Desktop PCs as the experience is Very local-like under the right conditions. The magic happens when you can play GeForce NOW at 120 FPS, with G-Sync and other features enabled. At this time, you can't get (all) these features while using the TV app. Not saying Priority is bad, that's not the case. Which Tier are you using? There could be other issues preventing you from experiencing GFN the way you would like. @@ProjectStorm First of, thanks for the answer. So basically I would play on my Samsung S92C 77” TV, through the GFN app for Samsung TVs. I got the ULTIMATE sub for gfn. I also tried three different controllers, but I haven’t noticed any difference when swapping between them (regular Xbox controller, DualSense and DualSense Edge). Also, for some reason when using Samsung TV GFN app the top stream FPS one can choose is 60 fps within GFN stream quality settings, even though the TV screen itself supports 120fps. In any case, for some reason Nvidia doesn’t like Samsung TV users very much it seems like. 😂 The only reason I use the TV app is convenience, really. I could technically run a game on the laptop and connect it via HDMI to the TV. That way I could play on 120fps and have no controller lag. It’s just a pain to have to set all that up for each gaming session, so I tend not to do it. The reason I asked the question about your experience to begin with was to see if you might have had some experience with GFN Samsung tv app. If there is as much lag as say “Cyberpunk 2077”, then I’d rather buy the game for PS5, despite the shitty FSR artefacts on Performance Mode.

Great Question. This game is certainly demanding to run on lower tier hardware other than say, an RTX 4080. I do see people out here using RTX 3060s and using lower settings to get above 60 FPS. I can ask other GFN Ambassadors who are using Priority and Ultimate to share their opinions as I mainly play on the Ultimate Tier. I agree with you about Elden Ring, and that the app allows you to play well above console performance. I have an Xbox Series X and GFN Ultimate is just, Different. I enjoy my console but PC gaming has the edge overall.

I'm not even sure how I did it lol. I was trying to set it at 120 but I think it's capped at 100. It might just be an in-game thing bc we know the 4080 can run it at higher than 100 fully maxed.

Are you absolutely sure about this? I ask bc I have been using GeForce NOW Ultimate alongside my RTX 4090 and they feel nearly identical at times in terms of latency. Maybe it's a connection issue? Like it's really that good on my end. I have G-Sync enabled and it's a game changer for eliminating frame pacing, tearing and other issues in this area. I know it's hard to believe but I wouldn't waste time on the service if it wasn't good. Believe me. I have friends with RTX 4080 installed, and the performance is nearly identical to GeForce NOW Ultimate. I prefer the Ultimate Tier as is allows you to maximize the great performance of RTX 4080 powered superpods. I have a 4090 in my desktop, and I can tell you that GeForce NOW is close to it in terms latency and visual fidelity. Of course the 4090 destroys everything out there but you GFN is very good. If you meet the requirements to optimize GFN Ultimate for best results, you may be wowed. Oh it's quite simple. You just go into settings in the GFN App, link your Xbox Game Pass account with GFN, and log into the games that are available on the service using your Xbox login credentials (email & password). Not every game is on the service but Starfield, Halo Infinite, Gears 5, and many others are there. Let me know if you still need help. Sorry for the late reply.

Thanks for asking and stopping by. The only issues I had with the game were crashing, and a few frame stutters here and there. This is not a GFN issue though. It was all in-game. As for your issue with the fuzzy video, I have heard someone else say this as well. Not sure if that's an internet stability issue, distance from your nearest server, VPN (if you use one), Wifi etc. These things will certainly play a factor in the stream performance. If I can help you I will. Let me know if it has gotten any better. If you have time please consider reaching out to Nvidia Customer Care as well. I have had to do this a couple times when I was seeing packet loss. They might be able to help you resolve your issue too.

@@ProjectStormreally appreciate the response. I have a feeling it is actually my monitor. I have an 18 yr old 1080p 60hz monitor that i have been streaming on. Just ordered an upgrade so hopefully this will fix it. I came to this conclusion when I saw that everything was a lot clearer on my laptop display; it has same specs but is much newer.

Yeah Epic Settings is not going to work well due to Unreal Engine 5 being very demanding at this point. I get between 50 to 70 FPS with Frame Gen enabled at 4K. I do think it's a good idea to make a video that shows the game running at different settings. I may have to do that in the near future. I love being in the game world. Especially with the next gen updates. Oh yeah, I actually play on my 82 inch 8K display which does 4K 120 FPS as well and the experience is Unbelievable. It's hard to explain just how good games look on it. I am looking at getting a nice monitor that does 240 Hz soon though, just so I can be fully prepared for future GFN and RTX GPU upgrades.

Good Question. I haven't even thought about it until now 🤔. The HDR Filter is what I might try first. However, the 10 Bit Color Precision feature is So Good that I feel it looks better than windows HDR. I will test the filters and let you know the results.

Thanks for stopping by, and for asking. Yeah it's most likely due to the plan you have. I am using the Ultimate tier to get the performance I get. I know Ultimate is not for everyone, but it will definitely boost the FPS count. The quality increases along with the Ultimate Tier as well if you have the proper internet conditions.

Yup, you may need to switch to borderless window mode to set it to 4K. Then it SHOULD save the settings once you exit the settings menu. That's how I did it. Let me know if you got it figured out and thanks for stopping by.

Nope, it's not really about the FPS, it's about the Hz. This makes the game feel as if it's being played at higher FPS and lower latency. This is why I chose Hz instead of FPS in the title. If you are able to test this out, do so. It should FEEL much smoother.

this is what members of the Steam Community is saying. There might be some good solutions in here for you. some are saying they just turned off V-Sync, and others are saying they went into control panel, and ran the game in Borderless Window mode to remove the cap. Thanks, I will have to try it. You aren't the first person who has said this. Shadowplay has been pumping out some high quality clips at 4K 120 FPS and 8K 60 recently. Now AV1 can be used as well. You just made me curious enough to try both to compare. If I see differences, I will let you know.

Yeah I am wishing RUclips will be rolling out 4K 120 FPS streaming in the near future. I also have Elgato's 4K X capture card which allows 4K 144 Recording. So my hope is that twitch and YT will allow recording streaming at these higher framerates. I will keep my fingers crossed. With RTX 4090, I can actually stream at 4K 120 FPS today but again, I know these formats are not ready for that just yet. AV1 has been Amazing with this card as well. Thanks for stopping by dude. Not much blurriness or pixelation that I can see. Local PC gaming will look slightly crispier, but GFN gets VERY close at times. It's actually hard to tell the difference when the bitrate is cranked to 75 mbps on GFN Ultimate. The latency is nearly non-existent as well. I have a gig Down & Up so this helps, but you may benefit from having around 100 down and higher to see great results at 1440p 120 FPS to 4K 120. Let me know if you would like to try GFN Ultimate for a day. I might have a code lying around.
