I use 12lbs braid 90% of the time even on 50lbs bass. If i need to get them up quicker I use 25lbs braid. I generally use 20-25lbs leaders. For perch I use 4lbs braid and a 10 lbs leader most of the time. When I jig for them I have to use 12lbs braid because i’ll catch bass too.

What pound braid and leader do you use for decent striped stripers and perch? That bay area kind of fish
