Tara Browne, mentioned in the art car section towards the end, who had the painted Cobra, was in fact a chap and also the heir to the Guinness Fortune. He was killed in his Lotus Elan, in London in the 60s and was immortalised in The Beatles tune 'A Day in the life' with the lyric "He blew his mind out in a car..."

Bugatti only made four Atlantics, not Atalantes, those were quite a few more. And those were aluminium-bodied, only the prototype Aérolythe was made of "Elektron", a magnesium and aluminium alloy that could be welded but you have to keep the temperature under control or it will spontaneously combust.

The tractors are very interesting, especially the early Lamborghini and the DB but I missed a John Deere.

Maybe it's just me, but I found the most impressive cars to be the Polo, Beech Buggy, and Citroen BX. Bertone never really did it for me personally. And a lot of the wedge cars just looked too much alike. Often times each one looks worse than the next. There are a few exceptions to the wedge style, but again, personally never a style that was a hit for me. I also remember when the Bugatti went up on auction. Everyone was so hyped because it was one of 4. I never seen the draw to it. Rare isn't always great. I know a lot of people love the lines and curves of those cars, but it just was a BIT over the top to me. One thing I do love about cars in general is that not everyone likes the same things. Some people need that over the top, Cruele DeVille styling, others think a 1990 Chevy Caprice is automotive engineering excellence. And although we may not always understand why someone likes something and doesn't, as long as you remember it's just their opinion and not fact, there's no need to get upset.
