They've had cleans in the past, but I think this might be the most use of them in one song! I love the ambiance they're creating with them

That last minute is an absolutely perfect example of how a properly established atmosphere, with the right melodic elements and clean vocal harmonics, can deliver and hit MASSIVELY harder than any standard breakdown with distorted guitars and gutterals.
That was nothing short of an absolute Tyson Punch of emotion. It was just perfect. No headbanging, no moshing... you just sit there, perfectly still, in complete silence, with your jaw hanging open. That’s how you know you are listening to complete, unparalleled perfection.

Ending gives me hope more bands are bringing back the post-metal sound early djent bands like Uneven Structure, worC, Tesseract, and Textures had. Disgustingly heavy but also hauntingly beautiful.

I don't think it ever left. It just sorta morphed in with doom metal.
I also thought of Textures, although this doesn't seems to top anything made by them
Imagine being a Swedish person out hiking and from a far you see all these people acting out this video, you'd probably think it was a real cult sacrifice until you noticed cameras.
I feel like at this point Swedish people, as well as the other Nordics, must be pretty much used to seeing metal bands recording weird stuff and acting silly.

Vittring was one of the most boring songs I’ve ever heard in this genre tbh but I love this and earth less
The tracks they released from Välde so far are like amazing psychological horror compared to jumpscare-ish shockers if you put them up against most of the "deathcore" scene. They manage to create an atmosphere second to none, instead of just hitting you with non stop heavyness. The riff at 1:20 is pure filth, and the orchestration at 3:17 is unrivaled in the scene. It's like listening to a blockbuster movie soundtrack. Incredible. Also these Riivata guys are killing it once again.

That outro came out of nowhere, very post black metalish. It fits amazingly well with the tone of this song, the new record sounds promising as heck at this point.

The most confusing song ever in a good way. The structure gives very storytelling feeling and listener will go through many feelings. Scare, Hate, Mystique, Anxiety and finally freedom

I mean i wouldnt say HLB is definitively the heaviest band, there's no way to even measure that objectively, but they are definitely up there. Maybe a beatdown band like Black Tongue or xKingx but that down tempo stuff is mostly kinda boring imo

It was only a matter of time before Buster really brought the symphonic stuff in to the foreground.
Buster is now doing in extreme metal what Devin Townsend has been doing for years.....going 9 steps ahead of everyone else constantly.

I would love *'Välde'* to become a theatrical experience of a videoalbum. This mysthical story needs to be told, _wherever it leads_ .
Nothing captures the feeling of dread and terror like HLB. I love it.
You have once again surprised me with this song. It's different than both of the last two singles, but it's still so uniquely HLB. I'll say it, you're honestly one of the most creative bands in metal. This song is incredible, the riffing early on is insane, drumwork is nuts, and the vocals are brutal yet emotive, and then the orchestral break into the clean part was beautiful, like I was listening to Alcest or Agalloch or something. I went from pure stank face to pure shock and then to pure bliss. 11/10 guys, this is incredible! 🤘🤘

I was getting just slightly tired of so much riffs for this last two songs, and I wasn't getting much on board with this one, until the last melodic part started.
