Ending gives me hope more bands are bringing back the post-metal sound early djent bands like Uneven Structure, worC, Tesseract, and Textures had. Disgustingly heavy but also hauntingly beautiful.
The tracks they released from Välde so far are like amazing psychological horror compared to jumpscare-ish shockers if you put them up against most of the "deathcore" scene. They manage to create an atmosphere second to none, instead of just hitting you with non stop heavyness. The riff at 1:20 is pure filth, and the orchestration at 3:17 is unrivaled in the scene. It's like listening to a blockbuster movie soundtrack. Incredible. Also these Riivata guys are killing it once again.
That outro came out of nowhere, very post black metalish. It fits amazingly well with the tone of this song, the new record sounds promising as heck at this point.

You have once again surprised me with this song. It's different than both of the last two singles, but it's still so uniquely HLB. I'll say it, you're honestly one of the most creative bands in metal. This song is incredible, the riffing early on is insane, drumwork is nuts, and the vocals are brutal yet emotive, and then the orchestral break into the clean part was beautiful, like I was listening to Alcest or Agalloch or something. I went from pure stank face to pure shock and then to pure bliss. 11/10 guys, this is incredible! 🤘🤘
