Humanity’s Last Breath has been a personal catalyst and soundtrack to my journey of becoming a professional 3D artist. I started listening to them on my first sculpt and 2 years later I’ve been offered a position at EPIC games, and had an interview with Sony Santa Monica’s (God of War) lead art director. It would be an honor to create art for their album as a token of gratitude.

Cattle Decapitation’s new album shows terror within the light.. it’s so good. Totally different heavy but amazing.
Also, Crown Magnetar coming in clutch with the ‘you think you know Deathcore? Hold onto your soul while I rip it outta you’ vibes. 2023 has been a fun year for Metal.
But of course HLM is a totally different atmosphere. Them and Vildjharta are always will be TOP TIER music writing.

I can't put words about it, so I'll just say this : I love them "vudvudvud" "dundun" riffs and slow drums "bom bom bom" so much. I mean seriously, these guys are above genres and stuff, they're awesome
Bro the riff at 2:09 is just.... a genius masterpiece. And then when the vocals join in relentlessly continuing the melody 👌👌 I honestly unironically wouldn't mind if that part was like twice that long.

For some reason I have an ASMR response to this bands music. It's like it's so heavy it comes out the other side and becomes relaxing. Weird. Love HLB.

It definitely seems to be shifting back that way a bit. Even the latest In Flames and Periphery have big beefy low ends

I heard a ton of rumors of the album coming this year but holy shit I didn't actually expect it to be true. The instagram teasers have had me on the edge of my seat just waiting to hear them in their actual songs. So fucking excited for the new era of HLB 🤘
They're one of the few bands who just never disappoint me.

Fr, his vocals are so evil an nasty. Love it. Filip from HLB and Joe from FFAA are the best vocalist in deathcore.
Would be an intresting idea for a collab song.
I hope he's got better live because when I saw them last year his vocals were pretty weak
Can't speak for his live stuff, but I am so glad to see people mentioning the vocals on HLB. So much focus on the absolute filth of those downtuned guitars that people forget just how good they are. Yeah he doesn't do anything groundbreaking but holy shit his vocals are the most feral and primal lows I have ever heard. I mean go listen to the song Earthless at about 3:15 into the song. Idc about production or vocal technique that shit sounds like the earth's tectonic plates opening up and something very old and something very angry screaming into space. Swedish people are just built different. I love this band so much it is unreal.

This band consistently gives me far and away the most cathartic experience I've ever had listening to music. I feel such conflicting emotions listening to them. Their music feels so foreboding to me and makes me so uncomfortable (in the best way) that I can do nothing but put my body in defensive postures: shoulders up to my ears, arms in front of my face as if to protect it, constantly stimming just to let out some of the discomfort I'm feeling... but at the same time I _groove_ through the entire track. And when it ends I feel a huge release of emotion that no other music has given me. They have boldness to never give you that release in the music, to only give it by ending the music and it _works._ These guys are incredible at what they do. Their music is unadulterated, visceral catharsis.
Please come to the US. I know it’s a lot to ask right now, especially. But it would be so amazing.
