I love Kroger Brand egg nog. The Southern Comfort is good too. The only other brand I recognize is the International (?) brand but have never tried it. I'll stick with my Kroger brand, unless I start making my own.
I actually like the Southern Comfort Brand. In my area I have seen Southern Comfort and Browns Dairy brands. We do have a Piggly Wiggly and a Win Dixie. However I have not gone in either store to see what brands they have.
The ONLY commercial nog to buy is Broguieres' @ Whole Foods, Sprouts, Lazy Acres, Gelsons or wherever you can find it, It's in glass 50% cream, premium eggnog, the best there is, it sells out very quickly so don't snooze, or then you'll lose......
You're darn skippy...it's the best commercial eggnog there is!!!! If you're in the Los Angeles area, you can visit the dairy in Montebello CA and make the purchase there...fresh!
Lightweight! I'd just be getting started and you're nuts, Southern Comfort is AMAZING! Of course, it's formulated to have alcohol added to it so it's pretty thick as is which i, actually, really love. I drink mine straight with no added alcohol but if you prefer a thinner nog, you can add milk.
Southern comfort is the worst swill I’ve ever tasted .... although the vanilla spice one is somewhat tolerable.... but I’ll add some alcohol and try it like that .. what liquor do you suggest or should I actually use some southern comfort liqueur

The reason I use 4 Rose's it's the only thing my grandmother would let in the house and just at Christmas for eggnog. She made it. I just buy the SC. LoL The crown vilinal if you like it sweet. My wife likes with the crown I tryed it there is no burn at all

It comes thicker because you're suppose to add the booze which will then thin it out. You can also add milk if you don't drink booze and prefer a thinner nog. Southern Comfort is my personal fav but that's because I like the extra thickness.

Alta Dena is legit too and for some reason my favorite carton launched Nog. SoCo is my backup.

You need to get ahold of the ones in the glass milk bottles. Broguiere's or Rosa Bro’s dairy.
