I think he has more powers than anyone knows. In Kidney Carl, Carl's head blows up when Shake tells him to go inside and shut up. When Meatwad asks "Why'd he do that?" Shake replies "Why wouldn't he?". I think because Shake is such an egomaniacal and uneducated individual, he simply expected Carl's mind to be literally blown. This expectation led to Shake subconsciously using some psychokinetic power to blow up Carl's head.

I haven't seen all the seasons of aqua teen hunger force but so far season 1 has my favorite master shake moments. He just felt a little subtle with his humor then being all about being an asshole, not that later shake is bad but this version had a certain charm to him
There are subtle shake episodes in later seasons too I think ‘Chick Magnet’ is a good example but I definitely see what you’re saying, there are more stupid comments than all outright mean comments. Like the bit with carl’s chain or the reverse vampires bit or the memphis bit lmao
