If they got rid of, or made it better to dodge those annoying ghost flame AOE I would like him 10 times more. First phase dodging the horse and knight at the same time is pretty dope
just did that yesterday slaughtered him in 4 hits as as phantom on NG+3 for a friend. I always watch the host get killed before I can jump down and help them as a phantom so frustrating.

Fun fact attacks that make you float like light of miquilia or plasdsax's ruin can be used to entirely dodge the second phase transition attack (He can do it multiple times.) while getting good damage in.
Lol fighting this boss freaked me out especially with the move where the horse charges and he spins at you in different directions, was a big relief to overcome sooner than later.
I just love how the deep string come in just as Putrescent Knight rides to battle from behind that wall there is something deeply mystical about the presentation of this boss that I really like
impairing thrust seems like a great Ash of war on this guy if you operate within the edge of it's range also it has a -20 holy resist. if you want to get frisky try the all knowing staff from gidion to reduce everyones holy and magic resist. keep in mind that he uses magic damage.
