    Just placed a pre-order in for the Patton, an upgrade from my v11 I started with. Initially pre-ordered the S22Pro then changed to the Patton but still wondering, & contemplating, just going head & spend the extra $900+ for either the Sherman S or Ex30. Really like the Master Pro V2 & V13 but at 5'7" I worry they may be too tall & heavy to deal with in stop & go city/ suburban type riding, long range with little stop & go to be jumping on & off every other block they probably wouldn't be no problem.
    Anyhow watching this got me back to thinking I should just stick with the Patton for now & if I find myself riding longer range I guess I can sale both the Patton & V11 & upgrade to one of the bigger ones later on.

    You guys got super lucky with that broken bolts height/proximity to hole opening. Just spent several hours extracting a broken bolt from my batch 3 Sherman-S. Bolt broke about halfway into opening so only way was to drill pilot hole and do an extraction. Like your Patton, all my motor bolts (except broken one) were just as loose as yours in the video. 200 miles, 90/10 street/trails with no jumping or hard riding. The lock nuts also look super flat. Not sure factory ones are doing much to keep the bolts tight.

    • @deejeh9494
      @deejeh9494 Год назад +2

      You can more easily repair/replace/upgrade the S22 linkage although the Patton has a decent suspension (66lbs)
      Street jumping/skatepark I'd suggest Patton. It throws you upwards in jumps, feels smoother and faster response. Wonderful for potholes and bonks.
      Off-road/big air I'd suggest S22. Takes a beating better, bottoming out isn't horrible and you can fix a busted suspension more readily.

      This has been on my mind for a while. In my opinion this toe delete grizzla was a decent quick fix but the bumpers get in the way slightly. I would either fill in the gap between the bumper and battery box or remove the stock toe pad/bumper/handles. The bumpers are hard plastic regardless, not worth keeping imo and the handles need work. Front handle needs to be higher by half an inch to properly clear the charge port.

    You'll never be able to make an EUC perform as well as a Mountain Bike or Motocross motorcycle in the environment you've put these eWheel's thru here. EUC's rely on angular momentum and inertia sensors to operate properly, once you've taken ground contact away from the eWheel, ur rarely going to have a wheel speed on landing that matches the takeoff speed, putting stresses on the drive train & suspension systems these EUC's weren't designed for. The more height and distance you make the jump, the greater likelyhood of mismatched wheel speed on landing and increased stresses on the drive & suspension. At best, it's like trying to use a Wave Runner like a Fishing boat, you can do it but it's just never gonna perform as well.
    That's my take on the practicality of trying to make a EUC into a Motocross bike.
    So now that ur ready for questions . . . could you have done that loose mount repair on the Patton while on the trail & what tools would you need ?

      @@BRyeEUC Kewl ! Thx, not too many YT review channels talk about that. After seeing a few teardowns, such as in this vid, I just had to ask. It just doesn't look easy getting to a wheel w/ an internal motor that's been sealed w/ gaskets, O-rings & silicone. I've been layin down the miles the last 3 yrs on a Fat Tire E-bike which has allowed me to Park the Car. The Gas, Tires, Oil & Insurance I wasn't paying for anymore basically financed the E-bike. Last year, here in the Portland/Vancouver area, about a Dozen of those eWheels passed me on the bike trail, and I couldn't catch Any of them to ask questions. So here I am watching every YT vid I can find on the subject because I want one !
      I've set a budget of $3,500 bucks for this eWheel but that needs to include a full face Helmet, padding and maybe an essential accessory or two (seat, power pads, goldfish bowl bracket ; ), which has me drawn the $3,200 InMotion Adventure V14. It ticks most the boxes on my EUC wish list for now and Eric @ eWheels was telling me it's more of a "modular" design w/ ease of maintenance in mind. Maybe gaining access for Tire repairs on the V14 won't require a well stocked Snap On Truck to accomplish. I've been following Marty Backe's ElectricUnicycles channel on the V14. It looks like InMotion is throwing their support at the Hall Sensor issue going on w/ his V14 right now. I'm sure since the world is watching, they'll give their due diligence and solve that issue for good. Anyways, I guess the second batch of V14's w/ the Samsung S50 batt's are about a week behind schedule so they will likely be distributed in January.
      Thx Again for the input on this, Happy Trails & Merry Thanksgiving !
