I love the variety of feedback you're able to collect with these videos. Really nice to hear input from so many types of riders with such different experience levels and expectations.
I was between the mini, the patton and the extreme. I chose the patton because it does both street and offroad really well and i love being able to rip it through the streets then just smash through a trail all in one day. So far im loving this wheel. Amazing.
Thanks Corey!!! Small explanation about the batteries and why I didn’t include that part - The batteries broke through the bottom of the battery box while jumping. They ejected through the plastic cover that is screwed onto the bottom of the battery box. BUT; 1.Many, Many Many experienced and hardcore riders were beating on it that day, taking it off a kicker to flat concrete, sometimes reaching heights of 4-5 ft multiple times. It was bottoming out as well from some riders over 200lbs, and its just not realistic to think that this constitutes "normal use" usually, if you are jumping that high, you want a LANDING lol.. that is angled and will soften the impact. 2.Like i said, I dont want to give the impression that that is "normal" since literally NOBODY else has done it. I dont want to trash leaperkim beyond the photos that have already gotten out there... they are already aware. Hope that makes sense!!!
@@wheelydope open up the battery packs, and add some foam in the top and bottom of the battery to pad it out and stop it from shaking around in there. That and dont overtighten any screws that go through plastic! thats a killer. Cheers man :)
T3/18XL rider here, I went with the Commander Mini over Patton for the cool $ 700 cheaper to my location. I’m 99% a suburb street rider so a silent operation and an occasional 60kph burst is all I’ve been looking for.
Great video again. Looking forward to the massive 16” wheel trail day at the Don. Hopefully you can have all of them there, Mini, Patton, Extreme and V14 (no need to bring S19, to pretty for the trails😂)
Good to see a Canadian EUC retailer (Ride One) that started because they were experienced wheel riders who are obviously passionate about growing the EUC community. Walked into one seller where the people there didn't even know what an EUC was or that their HQ had chosen to sell them... and of course the the early online west coast one that started selling and releasing video before gaining riding experience.
At ride one, EVERYONE rides, has multiple Euc of their own, and is super passionate about the industry. We are so glad that you see that, we think it’s so important!! We will keep riding, whether its on film or not 🤣 cheers and thank you for your support, and for watching the video!!!! Much love ❤️
Hahah! It was something that had already been posted on many forums and got around. Commander mini tops out about 10kmph faster before first beeps, but seems to lack the bottom-end torque that patton has. But the firmware update for commander mini may change that! Cheers and thanks for watching! :)
It does feel heavy at first, especially coming from a smaller wheel. But once you get a feel of it, it feels light and nimble. Very high quality build, I love it!
I just bought a Patton coming from lighter wheels any tips?.. My friend got t he master 3rd gen and the pedals are so high ! I got the knobby tire my 1st and I'm nervous about the 30 pound weight added and the knobby tire .I live in a area with questionable terrain and my first 2 wheels had street tires and I feel like I'm on ice on loose dirt and gravel etc.
How much difference would you guess there is between Patton and Extreme in ride quality due to the different suspension types? Heard not much good about the Master for ex but have they evolved so that it is somewhat good and smooth or still clunky but with more travel?
@@BRyeEUCCan't wait! Been super excited about it but been thinking a bit about the Patton recently due to smoothest suspension and progressive tilt-back at pwm. At least my shermax beeper hard to hear even after swapping direction of it to play upwards and grille removed. On the other hand the Extreme got more speed as safety headroom and more watts and more volts which I hope means more energy in low battery and voltage sag that might be as good or better idk. I feel my shermax is getting boring below 60% batt but the 16" 134v 3500w powerhouse might negate that issue and still be fun in lower percentages?
@@TurboGlenn The question is if the Patton suffers from leaky suspensions. I am going with the Extreme. I hear the conversations of which has the smoothest suspension, but I couldn’t imagine that any of the new suspension offerings will be bad. My separation will be measured in speed, torque, range, and toughness. IMO, I am betting on the Extreme, unless Inmotion pulls a rabbit out the hat.
@@Stan-kj8fq Yes leaks would be a concern. Fixable if parts available but very inconvenient. Perhaps it's more fragile now that from what I can tell all the rigidity between the shell and the wheel is made up by the fork suspension unlike the SS and Cpro with small plastic wheels that suck even more imo. Extreme most likely a good amount more tough and unlikely to bottom out. I think I've heard in a vid that the c40 motor is heavier which is a benefit to the less stable nature of 16 inch so hope that's true. I like what Inmotion is striving to do but apparently there's some battery warning issues w the v13 so idk but would be very interesting to see their version. Now again I'm thinking to buy the Extreme for the same reasons you mentioned about performance. Would love tho to have the peace of mind of progressive tilt-back on it since beeps hard to hear in 60+ kph / 37+ mph.

I like the Patton so definitely nothing against it but personally, I'd wait for the Extreme's debut & owners fieldtests before deciding.
