Great setup, Laura. What if you had a quiet fan to circulate the air in that room? Then maybe it would take longer to heat up that room. I live in Arizona so I have some warm weather experience. Fall is coming soon so you have time to figure out a cooling solution.

If your basement room has a supply air vent AND a door, but no return air vent, it will get hot because the air is not circulating. You will have to keep the door open to get air conditioning into that room. If the room has a door but no supply grill, it will be hard to cool it, at all. Nice toys!
