This song brings back so many memories of my teen years...the 80's were really the best time of my life. I just need to listen to this song and the past comes back to me. ❤
I saw Def Leppard three years ago at Wembley Arena in London. It was an epic stadium show and I was right at the front with some friends who had joined me. They played the whole Hysteria album from start to finish with epic visuals but during the encore after the album's performance, they played this song. I've loved this song since the 90's but nothing could have prepared me for how emotional I got when they did it live in front of me that evening. It just hit me and the tears flowed like a stream. I'm glad I got to feel that much during that moment. This is why Def Leppard are one of the greatest rock bands of all time, they are absolutely blazing live and connect that much with their audience.
Dont know why got all emotional reading this, some songs hit us hard depending how the song impacts us or a certain time in our lives, i’d love to go and see def Leppard ♥️ xxxxx
@@SaraMommyof3 Thanks so much for taking the time to read and to ultimately comment sharing your thoughts. I wasn’t even expecting to feel that much when they began to play it. I always loved the song since the 90’s but seeing them doing it live just was on a whole another level. Something else took over and I just couldn’t contain it. I would highly recommend you to go and see them, you won’t be disappointed.
This used to be me and my late mom's song..some days we couldn't stand eachother but te next day its like nothing happened..we would blast this song every morning with our morning tea..no words could describe the love I hold for my mom, she was my everything, my bestfriend..when she passed, everything around me shattered..1972-2016 I love you maa..always
I would stop breathing if I ever went to a Def Leppard concert and was just able to chill with them. I know I’m young. But their music has got me through so many depressing times. Loosing a baby to crib death, almost killing myself. They got me through 2003. They are the best band ever
I got very badly bullied when I was a teenager by a member of staff in my high school and so did the pupils of the same high school and I was in a dark place and def leppard mad me smile again and this video took me out of the dark place
I hadn't heard this song in ages until a week or two ago. It is one of those Leppard songs that doesn't get played a lot on the radio anymore. I had simply forgotten how good it was. Shame on me...
I get so mesmerized watching him sing this song. I cant imagine if life would've went the way he wanted. Its like the stars were lining up since the guys couldn't find a singer and Joe not being able to find a guitarist spot. Are you kidding??? I cannot imagine a waste of his voice. Your voice is chefs kiss joe
Agree, he was one of the sexiest man alive in those days, tall and handsome, a brilliant voice and musician and a cheeky confidence on top.... explosive combination ! Its not fair, some guys have all the luck.....! Luckily I havent seen him in real life, cause I would surely drop to the floor instantly. Too much to handle so to speak !!
@@tinabjorklund6732 I met the band in June and have to say Joe looked fantastic with his white hair! He has this booming speaking voice and was very kind when thanking us for coming to see them. They all looked great, and Viv looked exceptionally healthy. They seemed to be so happy to be back on the road and their performance was just so exuberant!
Saw them in concert 2018 Noblesville... the best moment ever... took two of my boys and my sister and they loved it so much... looking forward to many years to come... Def Leppard you are the best... you were my childhood and now you are apart of my adulthood.. love you now and forever..
I dreamed to listen them in concert since I was 10. On July 3, 23 years after, my dream came true in Düsseldorf, Germany. I traveled from Colombia for enjoying these amazing rockstars. Now, I can die in peace.
Another good song from post 1990 Def Leppard. They were young in 1983 when they had a huge success with 1983's Pyromania album and Tour. Rick Allen was only 21 when after that Tour he received a big pay day and bought a Corvette which almost cost him his Life in the accident. He lost only an arm but for a drummer this likely lead to an increased risk for depression and suicide. However, Rick was able to deal with the situation which inspired many. In 1991, guitarist Steve Clark's inability to handle his situation(alcoholism and pill-popping) did cost him his Life(RIP). From 92's Adrenalize album on, DL began recording many more ballads and positive-vib songs which bordered on Christian Rock with song's like: Have You Ever Needed Someone So Bad, Stand Up Kick Love into Motion , Two Steps Behind, When Love & Hate Collide, Miss You In A Heartbeat , Breathe A Sigh, We Belong, Good Bye , Long Long Way To Go , Promises , Now, Wings Of An Angel and Work It Out.
Thank you for the honest words brother! This all was the soundtrack to my teenage years and coming back from the Persian Gulf. Times that defined me and us all!
I grew up with them great music deep music always and for ever I may have been 47 years old when I got to see the the first time felt lime I was in my way early years all over again..
Ive watched this video many times before but didnt notice that the drummer has only one arm untl today after I learned about it... This band is amazing....
This song. 1997 was a good year. I was 16 in High School (Grade 9) and this was getting air play on 96 Nau FM as well as FM 100 in the former Australian Territory of Papua New Guinea. Waves of nostalgia smother me.
Gotta love LEPPARD. how can anyone not? Great vocals, great band, great harmony and who can't like Phil Collins on lead guitar. And they're all such nice guys. I've always been impressed when I see interviews with Collins and Elliot. Always willing to help newbies. I love unselfish people who don't think they're so much better that they're unwilling to help others. God bless you guys of Def Leppard. Bye the way if Phil was there I didn't recognize him? Amazing song
Right here in November 2024
I remember listening to this song on my uncle's walkman back in '97. The rewind button wasn't working so had to spin the cassette with a pencil.
Lol
I remember the tape machine eating my tape!
Good old days. That's why old music was worth listening to.
Sweet memory
You coulda flipped it over and fast forwarded it. Might have not took so long
That was my most important use of a BIC pen back in the day... spinning cassettes. 😁
Always watching Def Leppard. Since 1985. ❤

fueron compuestos para el mismo disco, lo presentaron el Vault como bonus track. Ellos mismos dijeron: escrito para Adrenalize, Lepardizado para Vault
