If this is the start of you filming and editing skills then you’ve got nothing to worry about, it all looks great! (Although I did nearly cry seeing those 3 beautiful underwater raised base plates used as just filler plates, especially the raised platform sitting on the taller ones - maybe put a small square of fabric under the legs so the water pattern doesn’t get scratched - you need to look after them for a future underwater scene!
@@rebricks I hadn't looked at other comments, it's funny that others have said similar things I have two of those plates, and wanted to buy another one recently and there wasn't a single one for sale in the whole of the UK !!!
Suggest when you add your audio to fill in between speaking sections, balance it with your voice level. I had to turn it up to hear your voice, but then down on the music only. Good luck, looking forward to more.
It makes me cringe to see you place the legs of the elevated platform right on top of the baseplates, especially those beautiful vintage blue raised canyon baseplates! For sure they will be damaged the weight of the platform and the Lego you will build on top of them. Would it not be better to place the platform legs directly on the table top and eventually fill in the space with Lego around the legs??
I’ll admit I hadn’t thought about the weight factor, but it was mostly a matter of simplicity in getting the plates to fit without cutting the plates around the legs. I’ll have to think about that.
Yeah I really wish Lego would release train sets with just the engines and carriages because I don’t need all the extra pieces/tracks. You might get lucky on bricklink or just start over with the new green one. They appear to release new trains every 4 years.
@@rebricks I actually haven't started building my city yet so I could probably use the tracks honestly. I have no idea how far they go or how many ill end up wanting/needing. Just stumbled across your channel today but ive subscribed because im excited to watch your city grow... although you're making me want to get another assembly square so my wallet is upset 🤬😅
@@SkyKid002 you could just get the new one and try to combine then so you have a full train? The colors might be hard to blend but then you’d have tracks and not be overpaying necessarily… I feel your wallets pain lol.
@@rebricks I could also wait for a new train to come out and sell my one passenger train and put that money towards 2 current ones. Not too sure how I feel about the green one... I need to look at it again. Another option is to just use my hogwarts express and add a motor to it somehow 🤔😅
Love it so far! I'm out of breath watching you run up those stairs! lol
Having a more vertically-oriented house definitely builds up your thigh muscles!
When the trains met up! That was sweet. Glad there were spare baseplates up the stairs!
Love watching lego builds
Seeing LEGO stuff on RUclips is what reignited my love for it.
Cool baseplates to start from!
thanks!
Skills
😳 shucks...
Legos are so awesome. excellent video. will definitely be tuning in for more. Great work!
Thanks! My plan is every Monday at 12:00 PT.
So awesome, can't wait to see how this city ends up! 🔥🔥🔥
Thanks a lot! Same here!
Nice train track for the available space 😃👍
Thanks! I have potential plans for more space but for the foreseeable future this is it!
I had that Aquazone set with those blue rock baseplates!
It's a great set! Sadly I only have the baseplates left... :(
That missing baseplate made me laugh! Looks great though!
Haha thanks for affirming my sense of humor!
Looks good!
Thanks a lot!😀
Looks like so much fun!
It really is! I'm actually enjoying the video creation process almost as much, which surprised me!
Enjoyed watching this!
Thank you! I enjoyed making it!

I’m going to swap out those plates. I didn’t realize they were so rare and enough people have complained… 😬

Great content brother 😄
Thank you 🙌!
I'm waiting for more updates.
They’re coming (if you mean other than the 10 videos released after this one!)

I have one passenger train but clearly I need to find a second one 🥴😔
