As a modeler, I suggest a light white layer of paint, to cover any areas you want to hide. This allows you to apply the thin resin, and the darker under level to show through

I thought I really liked this one but after watching you try to spread the frosting I'm not to sure about it. I think yours turned out good.

I did this one yesterday and had similar issues. I just did really thin coats. I think I had 4 total and it finally covered it completely. But it was a struggle! I was also lucky that I still had some move the mint Resin left over from my mint milkshake from series one.
I think I would paint it like a white paint on the outside first next time, so that the translucent mint green resin had an even colored base.

Ok so tip if anyone gets this one. Keep the cake in the white plastic base it comes in to help ice it 😊😊👍🏼. Then you can spin it without touching it.

First
