Just bought my first Miniverse and was excited about this bird feeder, until the directions. Ha! No resin was a bummer too. I had watched a bunch of videos for the Miniverse and had such high hopes too. I’m thankful you had a video that confirmed my confusion. My black/white directions weren’t for this bird feeder at all but rather the cardinal birdhouse. Oh well, it’s still cute. Hopefully my next one will be something even cuter and with better directions.
Thank you so much for your help. My daughter and I could not figure this out and without you, we would not have been able to build our birdhouse. You're the best. Thank you so much.
Oh my goodness this is so funny I literally said to myself that I was going to wait and watch you do it before I made mine because I had NO idea how to set this up from the instructions 🤣 and then you happened to post it! Thanks so much. Love watching your vids!! ❤️
LOL! I had to have my husband analyze it to make sure I wasn't misunderstanding. But he's like NOPE they messed up and didn't drill a hole in here. So we improvise!
For those little cardboard boxes that are hard to open, I found using the tweezers helps open them without tearing. Use one side of the tweezers and slide it underneath the lid and then gently pull the box open!
Like many I found this video trying to figure out how this dang thing works. I ended up bending my string in half and affixing it to the bottom with some extra resin from another kit. Also, the provided tweezers are the perfect size for smooshing more of the resin into place in the troth and if you have a trowel from a plant mini kit, it’s the perfect size for sprinkling the seed into the troth. I also mixed the “seeds” in the tall box that came in this set. It spilled a little but I did it over the instruction sheet so really easy to funnel back into the feeder!
Thank you so much! I thought I was going crazy with the instructions, especially how to attach the string. I was about to write to them and say mine was put together wrong!
I ended up using white resin for the 'moat' and the top because I was not confident at all about the lid not coming off. The bird is loose because my daughter likes playing with it.
I'm so glad I came across your video cuz I was thinking the same thing like there was no hole at the bottom to put the string the directions were horrible and no resin I'm new to this and of course this would be one of my first ones to get but the birdie is so cute
My tip to help with the blending of the birdseed was to pour both bags into a Dixie cup and shake it up with my hand covering the top of the cup to mix it all together. Next I got a second cup pour some clear resin and added a little bit of blended birdseed from the first cup. I used my metal jewelry tweezers to pluck a clump of the seed+resin mix and a toothpick to scrap it off the tweezers into the moat. Repeat until the moat is filled and use the toothpick to maneuver the seeds to your eye’s liking for aesthetics. Dab the chickadee’s feet in resin and place it where you like in the moat or moat’s rim. Cure. Then I poured the remaining blended birdseed into the clear center piece.
My first tiny verse thingy. What the heck are the 2 golden/yellow parts for? You unboxed it as well.. but we have no clue where it is for. Almost if it is from a different set. I imagined things like this would be really complete. But the build feels really clumpsy. Yes it is cute. But for 8/9 euro.. you would think it would have a bit of glue.
I found this video because I wasn’t sure about the instructions and couldn’t figure out if I was doing something wrong. I looked at the black and white instructions, which I rarely look at, and it said for birdhouses and bird feeders to tie a knot exactly like in this video. My question is, why did they make the picture instructions different?! They should know no one looks at the black and white paper😂
@@KitchenBricks I know me too! I looked at it the first time I got my first mini verse and with this bird feeder just cause I was curious if it said anything that I might be missing.
I like your way of building it better than their way of feeding that string all the way through. The chickadee is too cute! I watch them everyday at my birdfeeder.
Yep, either of those would work. Super glue might be best for the bird. But you can always buy clear resin on amazon, this one is pretty cheap - amzn.to/3RZSvcf
I got this set as my first miniverse ever 😂 what a bummer
SAME!
I WANTED A PLANT 😤

Sometimes the directions are very clear and other times I'm left with questions lol.
I came to find someone who had made this because the instructions were silly
Same lol
Same, I thought I got a defective one and came to investigate.

Of course this was my first mini brands ever. Thank you for your help in figuring out I'm not looking at this wrong lol.
Ugh! Sorry your first one was a hard one. The rest are usually very easy.
Thank you! So helpful. I was pretty lost with this one, but it’s one of my favorites. I’m glad I watched all the way through before attempting.
You are so welcome!
Thanks, same issue, we had no idea those were the legs for the stand and the stringy thingy threw us for a loop

I used a tooth pick in a recent video and that worked well too. I don't even try to open with my fingers anymore cause I will 100% rip the box.
I have this and I found something lucky!

Thank you so much for the video. I was confused too about the string and lack of hole.

Glad I could help! I spent so much time trying to analyze the instructions lol
Very cute I really loved how came out😊😊😊 thank you so much for sharing !!!! ❤

Glad I could help! Usually the instructions are not confusing or complicated.

so cute. i glued mine everywhere so it wont accidentally open up!

The gold pieces snap on the bottom of the white shelf. Each capsule comes with the center piece which makes the shelf
@@KitchenBrickstysm.. we had no clue at all. But this makes sence
Thank you, I was having a hard time! 😊
Glad I could help!
Okay I thought I did it wrong because if there was a hole at the bottom the top would be secured. This one I agree should’ve included resin
Thank you.

No idea! I never even thought to look at the white instructions. I immediately toss that in the recycling lol

Thank you! This has been my favorite build from the set despite the instructions being wrong.
Broke mine trying to disconnect the undisconnectible bottom piece 😑
Thank you so munch am Bin Dealing whith this toy for 5 days thank❤❤❤❤😊🙏
Thank you. Oh my goodness I was starting to think I wasn't so bright lol
My top lid doesn’t even click in, so there’s no way it would hold itself up without resin. Such a bummer.
It's a bummer but you could use super glue
There are actually better instructions in the white booklet that also comes in each ball. 😉
I'm here because I also got a defective bird feeder 🤦♀️🤦♀️
I have no extra resin so i am lost how to get this bird to stay. I was gonna super or hot glue the lid/top on.
Yep, either of those would work. Super glue might be best for the bird. But you can always buy clear resin on amazon, this one is pretty cheap - amzn.to/3RZSvcf
@@KitchenBricks since I'm buying these now I may just do that.... Going to Amazon now. 😆
I HAVE NO IDEA WHERE YOU GET THESE😭
Amazon, Target - amzn.to/47kCRhz
I didn’t realize resin did not come with it so I’m so sad after putting it halfway together…
Mini verse, do better
Bought one and didn’t work.. the top didn’t lock…. Not recommended 😞 it’s cute but doesn’t work
