Your build videos are top notch, I appreciate the effort and dedication you put into them, and you inspire me to make my builds better. Thank you for sharing your skills with all of us!
@@bcochener You can stack the OGRC wheel hubs for more clearance, you will need longer screws, and an extended nut to bolt them to the axles but they do push the wheels out further by a couple mm.
Thanks for tuning in. If you’re new, my builds have lots of good tips and tricks. The frame for this one is just Axial’s stock XL rails: www.amainhobbies.com/axial-scx24-jeep-jt-gladiator-xlong-wheel-base-chassis-153.7mm-axi201003/p1397415
I was getting ready to say the same thing how good you do on your videos what I would like to know I guess you do them in a little short clips until you're ready to put it all together but also how many trucks do you have
Hey man, sorry I missed this. Yeah, most of the time they are built in small segments as I have time. A few I have knocked out in a weekend or so pretty straight through. Always depends on is something goes sideways or not… having to prefer a part sure slows down the build. But, currently i think I’m at 40 scx24s if you can believe that. Cheers!
Definitely agree, seeing you with a small indoor course would be awesome!! Knowing you it would be one of the best indoor set ups around. I would also love to see these masterpieces run a little, especially the ones leaning more towards performance rather than scale!
Awesome build! I know you get your lights from Evan Designs. Where do you get the connecter you place on the end of the wire that connects to the receiver?
Thing looks awesome. I just got mine on Friday. I like the colors you went with. Mine's gray and came with a white top - not sure if I want to paint it or just hit it with matte clear. Got any tips on sanding out all the print lines other than endless time and elbow grease?
Thank you! Love how this turned out. -what plastic did you get? I’ve never actually done any sanding prep to the exteriors of any of the resin bodies. I just hit the underside body edges where the bumps are with a sanding stick. Wash, prime and paint. I did just get my first FDM print from him, the Brute, and am actually surprised how detailed and clean of print it is. Very close to the resin detail. No matter what you do, it’s going to look good!
@@bcochener I got the resin print and I kind of half wish I'd have gotten the other but no big deal either way. Just some print anomalies that should cover up well with a coat or two of paint. The vents on the sides of the hood had a rope-like pattern to them so the entire vent looks rather waffle-like. I've base coated it with a flat red so I can do some chipping with the second coat. I got 4 different colors but plan to stick with the slate look. It just worked so well with those wheels and tires. Thanks for the advice!
@@VermontScaleCustoms Man, that is a bit unfortunate. It’ll buff out… 😝 I can literally read the raised dry brush on the Willys. And that is tiny and crisp. I just looked all mine over, and no waffles here. Must have just been an anomaly like you say. Slipped through QC.
@@bcochener the paint turned out pretty rough. Kind of more of the same thing like the last FJ. I did a little "weathering" but will most likely try and do some chipping since I base coated it. It doesn't look terrible but. it doesn't look great. I keep telling myself it's supposed to be a '67. Are you in the FB groups at all?

As a lifelong Detroit Lions fan, I am all bout this color combo! Great work as usual man.
Oh hell yeah! I didn’t even think about that coincidence!

Front and center! Let's go!🎉🎉🎉
Hell yeah brother!
Looking good
New to the hobby - do you have a link to the frame ?? There seems to be a few stock chassis out there. Great work sir.

That thing came out awesome. Needs a lightwhip in that bed! I’d like to see an RCmotoring light whip on one of your builds.
Thanks, I appreciate that! I’ll have to check those light whips out. Cheers!
@@bcochener can’t wait! He also can do custom work of different length or diameters if need be so he can be flexible to apply it to your creations.

You should build a small indoor course & add a few minutes of run time in at the end of each one of these build videos!
If I could just stop building these for long enough… 😂

Damn! That little truckster got better articulation than my 1/10 scale tf2!👌😂👍👉♥️very cool little one! Great job man!
Appreciate that! Cheers!
Awesome build! I know you get your lights from Evan Designs. Where do you get the connecter you place on the end of the wire that connects to the receiver?
Appreciate that! They are just servo extension cables cut down to length, with the signal wire removed.
Ready but probably miss another one with work
Understandable mate! Work is work…
It's more of a pain in the ass, but i highly suggest 3x6x0.01 shims over the piddly little o-rings for the worm gear
@@bragilbe12 good tip
Would you mind sharing where you found the O-ring assortment? Thanks in advance and keep making the the great videos!
@@joshpendgraft1241 @10:25? Those are just the spares form parts purchased. The case is from Cow RC though.
