RCCL Mariner of the Seas Balcony 6344 with Cruise Deets in the Description.

This was a 4 day cruise out of Galveston 7/18/24 - 7/22/24.
CABIN: This is a spacious ocean view balcony located toward the back of the ship. We found this cabin to be very comfortable and zero noise issues other than children running up and down the hallways. It took 4 Clorox wipes to get the stains off the bathroom and shower walls/door, but I definitely left that cabin in better condition than found. Our steward was Glenda, and she was very accommodating. We did not have hot water in the shower the first day, but maintenance was able to resolve the issue.
FOOD: We found the Mariner to be the best food we have ever had on RCCL. The only item I was not a fan of was the tiramisu. Everything else was fantastic and service in the MDR was great.
SHOWS: We only watched the Under the Big Top ice show, which was great.
CASINO: The casino has a good selection of games, and we did really well by doubling our money. However, the casino is terribly smoky with a very small non-smoking section that is not respected by the smokers. Smokers just stand around and smoke regardless of the policy that they must be active players, and the cruise staff does not enforce the rules. The lack of healthy air in the casino will be a huge reason NOT to return to Mariner. The bar service in the casino is very slow, so just go straight to the bar to get your drinks.
EMBARKATION/DEBARKATION was fantastic.
