Keep your old set of lug nuts. Put your old lug nuts on the tire if you need new tires or brakes, so the mechanic won't scratch your nice ones. Put your nice lug nuts on after you get home from the mechanic. Thanks for the bag tip!
Haha good idea, service dept at all Chevy ford whoever dealerships are the culprit! Noticed mine on my gmc like with is going on…looking rusty and dented and scratched… dealership only ones rotating my wheels so I tell them don’t touch my wheels from now on
If they're all the way down its about half to a quarter turn I think. Definitely have to be all the way down tho which can be tricky to know without doing it a lot.
Just ordered the components you suggested. Bora spacers. 1.25. Except the lugs. My wheels (same as yours) are a champagne finish. plan on doing it in my parking lot at my apartment. Any suggestions? Going to be jacking up one wheel at a time. Thanks again!
Not sure why you jacked up the car. Couldn’t you replace one lug at a time without the need for the jack?
😂😂I’m sayin
Prolly showing it for people who also bought wheels & tires at the same time.

I just spray painted my lug nuts black and this was the video I was looking for. Thank you.
Glad it helped!
@@BJPLIFESTYLE It worked. Didn’t strip off the paint at all. Great little trick! Thanks! 👍
Just did mine today aswell, beats buying new ones 😂
Walmart bag is so thin. Freezer or sandwich bag?🤷
i wrap my socket with masking tape it works, dont use black tape it will leave black marks
Love the video where did you get the black lugs from? I’ve been looking everywhere for them. Everyone sells the 14x1.5
Black lugs look much nicer 😎
How did you find the correct torque setting for tightening your lug nuts?
In the "Torque Specifications" section of your owners manual!

Did you have to order 2 packs of lugs from Amazon because the come in packs of 24? Great video
You should only need 20! The jeeps have a 5 lug pattern x 4 wheels!!
@@BJPLIFESTYLE lol thank you 🙏

For the spacers? Just make sure you torque everything down to spec and you’re good to go!
I have 1 idea foe you change one at a time an no need for the jack
That's what I did on my SRT!
Do you know where i can buy black lug nuts for my Grand Cherokee? if not what do you use to pain them?
There’s an Amazon link for them in the top of the description!
Great thanks!!
Excellent video!!!
Appreciate the love!
I alway double layer when putting my socket in.
Smart!
Would have been great if I knew this before tightening my lugs.
Why jackup the car ?
good for not scratching but man wtf are you doing...
